lst help

  1. I have some plants that are about 11 days into vegging and have been having trouble deciding what method of grow to go with. I have been reading about lst and thought it looked pretty interesting. Anyone got any helpful info on it? Will it yield more than just topping? Does it require more time in either veg or flowering stage?

  2. 1st off; read the stickies in Absolute beginners.
Here's one to start you off: http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-beginners/122936-how-lst-low-stress-training.html

It will yield more than topping because you have multiple colas, instead of just one or two.

Flower time will not be affected, and veg time is totally down to personal pref...<yawns>...erence....<nods off> nope, sorry, it's no good, I'm losing the will to live.

Read the stickies, use the search, and factor in a bit of common sense to fill in the gaps.

    Gluck.

  3. I've read (in Jorge Cervantes' books) that's not necessarially true. The bud size is determined by root size, having more than one cola does not neccessarially mean more bud.

    </nods></yawns>

  4. thanks for the link rabiez. it was a huge help

  5. It sure as hell does. I just finnished an LST grow. Check out my Max LST thread.

  6. this is true, be we are taking into concideration people actually transplant their plants in appropriete sized pots.

This of coz on this forum seems to be an Omen for most as they call it Stressing the plant... I personally do not see how you stress the plant by transplanting it unless when your doing it your ripping the damn root ball apart while doing it.

    Either way

A plant in a 6 inch container non LST will Yield less than a plant in 6 inch container with LST....

In other words Jorge can suck my right ball :)

  7. You're welcome, although you should probably thank ^^the bloke with his left bollock on Jorges chin^^, as he's the one wot writ it.

    (Pass the mind bleach please)

  8. I was just pointing out that if not done right, topping a plant doesn't always mean more bud. That a topped/LST plant requires a larger pot to accomodate the increased root size, is what I meant, I didn't mean to suggest LST and topping is non productive. I've seen your thread and I found it really quite inspiring, so much so that it was one of the factors that made me come to the decision to LST my next grow. I plan on using DierWolf's method.

Lol! Only the right one? :D
