LST completed but still so much!

  1. Well I got everything bent down and over as much as I could but never have I seen such compact growth. I’ve never really removed anything before or lollipop but I think some of this need to go. What does everyone think? Lights will come on 3 hours late in the morning and go off 3 hours early putting her on 12/12. I’m afraid to stress her to much right now as I don’t want her to hermi or anything. I lowered my light from 18” to 17” and the PAR in center canopy went from 650 to 750 μMol/m2/s. I’ll keep lowing it over the next few days to achieve 900 μMol/m2/s. Should be around 15.5 to 16” and heat is going to be NO issue with this Spider Farmer SE3000. I’m really liking this light. This is the first time I’ve ever grown without a Metal halide and HPS. I’ll be putting up the trellis net soon as well. Anything else for right now? Thanks all!

  2. lookin good. fuck hps lol

  3. What did you pull with hps ?

  4. Nice shrubbery. Perfect for the SCROG. Looks like you’re ready for the net.

  5. I used a 600 watt ipower light but never really LST’ed and switched to 12/12 after 4 or 5 weeks because of height. I was only getting around 4 to 5 ounces of good bud off a plant.

  6. It will be interesting to see if you pull more . I think you will or will not . If that hps was dialed in then prob not. But save heat and electric . I am disappointed with my qb panels . Provide hot spots . I hate how they veg so many issue in veg for me i never feed them hard in that stage yea the light you bought should bitch smack the hps . please keep us all updated

  7. :D
You need to use strip lighting imo its the best. I own lots of Samsung derived strips and am very happy with the results. If the grower uses LST and scrog techniques along with side-lighting where needed, you just can't compete in any aspect.
I have never had faster seed->nice plant as using my 5500K LED strip (at <120W) combined with aeroponics.

  8. Hey send me a link to these led strips your talking about there are many i think your talking about sun boards ? If i have used sunboards in flower same as hps yields
I was thinking of building a board with 1000 watts of sun boards mixed spectrum. Problem is im all fucked up lately surgery after surgery. Just one more and i should be good for another 100 thousand miles . Minor fix . I have not been doing anything for the last two months .Video games . Not ever day trading .

  9. There are many strip light builds abound. Modern lights from Mars and Spiderfarmer use them. I really like the strips available from Shenzhen Kingbrite Lighting as they use modern components. Check out their newer X55 bar builds.

You can also get these earlier LM351c strips still. I've use these to veg. I get them from Arrow Electronics and they cost $3 for a 2-foot strip. But I backed mine onto some aluminum strips to cool. These use 60W per strip at 48V. I use two of them to veg and turn it way down (so order a B-type driver for potentiometer use).
The difference with more modern strips is about 10W per strip (ie. the other Hinflux strip uses 50W instead of 60W).
Oh these are 5000K color, not 5500 like I mentioned earlier, whatever.
