Hey guys, Im gonna be tripping in a few hours and I was wondering if anyone has any good pre-trip rituals that they do and would like to share. Also, I have tripped many times but I am always up for new suggestions for things to do while tripping, thanks!
Hmm, I havn't done acid yet, so I'm not too sure on your pre-trip ideas. I'd say write a note maybe, assuring yourself that you have just taken acid, because it will be a hell of a trip. At least from what friends have told me. Take your shoes off maybe? Get comfterable? If not be seriously carefull if you are gonna go outside. Just be aware of stuff.
Have you read Harry Potter 6? In it, Harry drinks a potion called felix felicis (lucky potion). Before drinking it he planned out what he was going to do, but afterwards he decides to do something completely different and the result is exactly what he wanted. My theory is that LSD is the same way. Eat it, and you will know what to do. You won't do what you planned.
True, should just let the acid take me wherever it wants to go, those are always the best trips! We are buying some electronic golwsticks from the army surplus store, and we will have a blacklight, and we live at the base of the flatirons (rocky mtns). Plus we are about a few mins away from one of the mose beautiful campuses in america, so I assume we can figure something out hehe. Thanks for suggestions!

here's your only preperation. Read The Psychedelic Experience by Timothy Leary. You should have no problems at all, in flight, that is. it's not necessary but it makes you understand what acids purpose is.
watch a funny movie to get the smiles and the good vibes started for the rest of the trip. Read something inspirational or listen to a cool speaker like Alan Watts or Anthony Robbins. Anything that will put you in the right mindset will work. Actually in about 24 hours I plan to be tripping balls in the woods at my cabin upstate. We got glow sticks, music, Fear+Loathing, video games, and prerequisites for a campfire. Should be a great time!
