After looking on erowid previously, and comparing materials/substances, it is difficult for me to come to a distinct conclusion as to what the actual difference in terms of feelings are on each chemical. I would be delighted if someone could help me in this area, someone that has perhaps, tried both.
shrooms induce more of a goofy, laughable state than acid does. acid induces those feelings but to a lesser extent. acid is more... hmm.. i want to say invincable but that's misleading. i felt in total perfect health, mentally and physically. nothing could go wrong, and the world seemed just right. they're both really similar. on both substances i have no real concern for reality. the visuals of acid were more intense than shrooms, still similar. i always quote my friend, he said it the best: "acid is like the dro of psychadellics, shrooms is the shwag(mids)"
Its hard to describe the feelings you get from psychadelics...imo, acid is visually more intense..whenever i trip, i find myself taking advantages of the distortions around me...shrooms is more in the head it seems..I think, think, and continue thinking about what im thinking...i have almost gone insane a few times! Closed eyed visuals are also amazing with shrooms!!!...acid trips are not as confusing but can sometimes be less euphoric.
LSD is intensely emotional, but you can keep it like on your sleeve. but when you let it all go, then you just feel really good. like a mild ecstacy. but more mental. shrooms is like a really high and drunk feeling and great visuals, but less controllable, but they still both are great i suggest try both.
Why, with LSD are such high dosages needed to get any effects? Is this to say, that if someone took one blotter, they would get no effects, and need to take 5-6, because they are quite expensive. Can you have a trip off of one blotter, like you can have a trip off of 1 gram of shrooms.
Yes, the first time i took one tab , i tripped pretty hard. Good for first timer since you won't know the potency of the acid...took 2.5 tabs last time and didnt even trip that hard...i was disappointed. but good luck man, peace.
I like shrooms alot more than acid to me anyway they are alot more visual and I laugh so much when I am on them. LSD to me was kinda boring and drawn out but it could of been my enviroment.
