Lowering humidity in a cloning dome

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by kayanow, Mar 21, 2011.

  1. Hi.

I live on a humid tropical island. Maintaining 50%-60% humidity indoors is no problem.

Now I am trying to clone and I am worried that inside my cloning dome its too humid.

I am getting humidity readings of 90% and higher.

I have the vents open and a cfl lighting 10 fresh cut clones in oasis cubes with 6.8ph tap and earth juice rootstock gel.

Is there a way i can easily lower the humidity to 70% to 80% inside the dome?
When I remove the dome the clones droop because the room is at 50%-60%.

Any ideas. I have not misted since i first cut them(yesterday..misting brought humidity to 99%)

I want these clones to root quickly!

also any other tips are greatly appreciated!:hello::hello::hello:
