Hello out there GC community, My 2 sprouts were sitting by the window but they started to flower so I moved them into the "grow room" (AKA side of the closet which was transformed this afternoon into the new and awesome planty playground) to give them the 16/8 they rightfully deserve. I have 8 23 watt "warm white 2700k" CFL's hoovering above the plants, and a couple computer fans on either side which were jerry rigged onto old cell phone chargers. Both plants have been fimmed (or topped at the least) and tied down. And now the pics, the quality is low because I had to take a movie with my ipod nano and screenshot the frames. the trouble i go through for you Enjoy!
Looks pretty cool in there actually. But you seriously are confused about what flowering means. And, even if they did "start flowering" as that young of sprouts, you'd never know. Not yet, I don't see flowers. Also, if that were the case you'd want em on 12/12 lighting, 18/6 is for vegetative growth as well. Now, if you do switch em, they will flower as soon as they can, probably like 1.5 weeks by the looks of em. And produce, like a quad max.
hi danyul thanks for the reply. by flowering i mean i noticed where i had fimmed them they had a lot of white wisps shooting up. I am getting less than 12hrs a day sunlinght here and in the window they only got about 1-2HR direct sunlight. my goal is to veg these for longer so they have a chance to turn into a bush, possibly drop a screen down, throw in some led's for bloom who knows? ill try and get my hands on a better camera so i can snap a pic of the part that has been fimmed and has the wispies. cheers!
Gotcha man, they sound like they might have started in that case, could just be sex revealing pre-flowers. If you wanna veg stick em in 18/6 like you said =D
