This is my first grow and I need your help. I have two lowryder seeds which have germinated healthy but I just went to check on them and one of them has turned brown. What does this mean? Attached is a picture of both the healthy seed and the one with the brown taproot

  2. I do not know what can be the problem. I reduced the water that was in the tray I hope that will help.

to me it looks like you are keeping it a little to wet. at this point you want the soil to be moist, not wet.

  4. Looks to me that too much light and moisture. When you put the seed in the medium, you must cover it with a piece. When ready it will pop thru, do not disturb!

Hi, first of all you shouldn't be able to see the tap root, because you are supposed to leave the god damn seed "underground" until it pops up. Tap roots are extremely delicate. Just plant your seed and leave it alone till it sprouts. Don't poke it and prod it, and look at it, and getting light on it!!!!

If you don't have the patience to just wait like another 2 or 3 days till it is fully sprouted, how will you have the patience to wait till it matures come the 6th week of flowering?

I don't mean to call you down, I just want to emphasize that growing weed takes patience. You clearly have patience issues with if you got Lowryder, and you've been peeking at it already!!!!!!

I recommend burying it and waiting at least 3 or 4 days before you right it off as a loss.

I actually have a couple amusing anecdote's about seed that were buried for like 2 months and spouted these incredibly long, and straggly roots and stems........but I can't go into it now.

  6. I dont know, I think its fine...It looks as though the seed is still on, so since shes a little early keep it out of light and i wouldnt put anything over it, I have had bad experience with makeing a humidity dome, it made the seedling damp off wich is too much humidity, or the plant has takin in some salt. The moisture from your coco cube should give off enough humidity IMO. If you put it under a light right now it would be too much for the roots to take in.

Its been under a humidity dome and 23w fluro. Should I just leave it alone take off the dome or open the slits on the top a little. Also would it be bad if I removed all the water in the tray? And I haven't really been messing with t just peeking through the dome evey once in a while

  8. i cover all of my seeds with small pieces from the bottom of the rapid rooter.

it certainly looks too moist to me. id take most of the water out of the tray.
