I am really interested in building some sort of bubble bucket. The only problem is that i have a limited height to grow in, about 4 or 5 feet. So i was wondering if i could use the same principle as the one in this forum but a lower profile to save space?.. can the roots just grow outwards?.. I was thinking something like one of these containers that are less than a foot tall but are a few feet by a few feet wide. Thanks..
maybe something like this. http://www.rubbermaid.com/rubbermaid/product/product.jhtml?prodId=HPProd100231 I am just worried about the amount of space wasted upwards. Would i be able to fit two of the 5 gallon buckets in about a 3ft by 3ft area and grow two nice size plants.
