  1. Hope people find this useful, using the low GI sugar these come up well. Adapted from a full sugar recipe that my friend uses.

Low GI Sugar Choc Chip Brownies

    Ingredients

    • ¾ cup (90 grams) of all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup (42 grams) of unsweetened cocoa powder
    • ¾ cup (90 grams) or dark chocolate chips for cooking
    • ½ teaspoon (3 grams) of salt
    • ½ teaspoon (1 gram) of baking powder
    • ½ cup (113 grams) cannabutter to your liking
    • 1 cup (200 grams) of LOW GI SUGAR
    • ½ cup (50 grams) of brown sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • ½ teaspoon (4 grams) of vanilla extract
    Steps
    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8″x8″ glass or metal baking pan or square cake pan and set it aside.
    2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Sift the flour and cocoa powder to remove any lumps. Add the salt and baking powder and mix well.
    3. Blend the cannabutter and both sugars together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
    4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
    5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    6. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
    7. If you really have a sweet tooth, sprinkle some icing sugar over the brownies while they are still hot from the oven

  2. Welcome to Grasscity Bazza. I'm not familiar with low GI sugar. What kind of sugar is it? I mean is it sucrose, fructose, or what? Is there a brand name?
