Love this GC Bubbler..USA..Borders...Contraband?

    I found a few bubbler's on GC that I like and I want to order...I live in PA and i was wondering if they would find it and consider it contraband on the way into the states...I don't want to waste the money or risk getting in trouble and I couldn't find any laws on the internet. Remember i mean a glass pipe that has the water chamber at the bottom...Not a bong

    It's a hard question. Customs does look through packages and they have been known too break pieces. However, that is not always the case.

    us customs has been known to intercept packages containing pipes and bongs, and replace them with a letter saying they had to remove contraband. i don't see how they have legal standing to do this, but i've seen the letters city members have scanned and posted.

    if they do intercept your package i don't think there is much you can do, sort of take the feds to court. which may be a good idea.

    If I were going to order something online that I really liked I would probably buy some cheap legal buds to go along with it. I know grasscity does have some things like that. That way there it looks like that's why your buying the bubbler, and not for any illegal use.

    Still customs will still break some of them. If you haven't noticed the government is ran by assholes. They just don't like the fact that we can buy bongs and shit like that.

    I believe that rarely happens, where customs will break something just because they don't accept what it's used for. It still happens, though.

    Sorry I think I confused everyone...I live in the states and want to order the bubbler from grass city...I meant when the carrier brought it into the states if the would catch it and keep it..I think i few ppl thought i was trying to take it through an airport or something

    no, thats not what anyone thought. theyre saying as long as its clean it should be fine. its not illeagal to buy/carry glass as long as theres no res in it.

    Although its not illeagal, some people are saying that customs will break it regardless. While this happends, its not so much. You should be good to order something. There is always the chance it can be confiscated though.

    i live in PA aswell and when i tried to order from gc it wouldnt let order to PA due to some stupid PA laws or some shit....

    I think that its not allowed to ship glass in PA for some reason.

    I haven't ordered from GC lately, but i did in 2007.... no problems arriving to Pennsylvania.

    I ordered off EDIT like right after christmas and all my stuff arrived, maybe try there? It'll probably take a week or two though.
    Or just go to a headshop like other people suggested, there are decent headshops around..

    Grasscity will not do color changing glass to PA. Other glass is good to go.

    SJ told me this about a month ago.

    I live in PA as well..."bongs", bubblers, water pipes...all illegal here, whether they're clean or not. Depending on where you live your best bet is to go to either Baltimore, Ohio, or New York and get a nice piece..or order from a shop located within the states (as anything from GC will be checked/broken).

    Found out the hard way, when mom decided PSP should know about my collection >.< At least if it's clean, all they can do is take it from you

    Well thats interesting. A few people in PA claim they got something no problems..others say no glass is legal at all here...i was going to go back to the shop i got my pipe from but I heard from a few people that their shit got shut down so i cant go there now.. I'm not sure either way if i want to order it or not
