    Watching this show now. It reminds me of when I got hooked on twin peaks.

    What are you favorite shows that you get baked and excited to watch?

    yeah, South Park is still my favorite cartoon

    but the thing about lost is it's so psychological and trippy like the david lynch stuff

    well simpsons is pretty deep ...

    anyhow, fucking love lost. Haven't seen a show in a long time that I looked forward to seeing every week.

    We just got an HD tv...this is the best fucking show in the entire world:

    Planet Earth (in HD)

    the colors are so vivid and the detail is so perfect that you seriously feel like you are there, and if you are baked, your mouth is dropped the entire time.

    It's like the fucking IMAX in my basement.

    Planet Earth is beautiful man. And the commercial for the spring season is the best i've seen for a nature show.

    We used to watch it before work every morning because it's so chill with no narration or anything, just pretty HD scenery and sounds. Good one.

    I also have my computer hooked up to my HD and download imax movies that play through the stereo. There's alot of stuff out there but mininova is easy to use.

    Even though your 18? Dude you could be 85 and still think that show is fucking hilarious. And LOST is the bomb. John Lock for the win!

    for the record I hate lost and I hope it's producers go bankrupt lol

    had it not been for their grubby hands we'd all get to see the aussie pregger chick beat down 'n blow up some mutant ass in hills have eyes 2

    as for show family guy/american dad wonderfalls was great till they ax'ed it (dvd was awesome stoned)

    sad to say I watched the last few weeks of the OC only to sleep through the last 2 eps stoned senseless still haven't seen 'em

    edit- how do you have your PC rigged to your set HDMI? DVI?

    Thursday night is one of the better nights to get baked and watch tv. On ABC they got My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs and 30 Rock... All of those shows are pretty damn good. I also like to watch Friday Night Lights while I'm high, its a pretty good show also but ABC fucks around so much its on like either ever other Wednesday or sometimes it'll go a few weeks without coming on. Me and my brother have a ritual where we smoke a blunt or two then watch Entourage when its on.

    i nixed my tv like 6 months ago :p only tv show i watch is weeds now, and thats only on my comp cuz my house is cablelessss....

    It's a DVI to HDMI cable, yep. Now I've gotta figure out how to do the HDMI cable when my Wii gets here!

    lol I looked up pregger and know what it means now. I'll meditate on the rest of that and see what I figure out about the pregnant australian in the wes craven movie or not.

    I'm embarrased to say I used to watch a few episodes of the OC. But you might as well just group those kids up with that mtv show group of laguna beach and, whatever ...j

    Wonderfalls was great. But they only aired like 5 episodes. Over xmas break I was someplace with different channels and saw some new episodes. Might have to download the ones I haven't seen. Good show!

    yeah, he got messed up so bad last night. The show humanizes the characters probably in the best way I've seen on tv. And there are alot of shows in this generation now, but lost started them off and is the best.

    yeah, i'm impressed with and watched most of the 30 rock. Office is one of my favorites, earl is great for a laugh and Scrubs! That's my favorite comedy. My brother in law hates that show and I think that's so damn funny cause its just a damn well made funny show. But to each his own :cool:

    I'll have to check out Entourage, haven't heard of it. Friday Night Lights is okay. Prison Break okay. Both fun shows occasionally, but I can see how you could get into them.

    What website do you use if anything to check out good tv? For movies I rottentomatoes, but so far all I've seen for TV is Metacritic. But there's gotta be something more like rottentomatoes out there for tv.

    Man vs Wild: He eats a live fish raw, can anything be more awesome?

    Futurama: Just the greatest show ever.

    Scrubs: I really like this show. It's fast paced enough to keep my attention, and it's really funny when you don't think it would be.

    That 70's Show: Entertaining

    cool, I just watched an internet clip of Man vs Wild. Looks like it starts a new season April 4th, Friday at 9. Definitely going to check it out. Looks really interesting.

    Not sure how many episodes of 70s show I haven't seen, not many.

    DVDO makes some nice switch boxes I currently use http://www.anchorbaytech.com/products/b-stock/systems/iscan_hd+.php
    its upscaling isn't as kick ass as a fuji chip but it makes vhs shine on a 7-9ft image in either dlp or lcd haven't had a chance to enjoy lcos on my grey screen yet

    but the newer dvdo line will probably suit your needs better

    sadly I couldn't group OC with that crap least the OC poked fun at being a shitty teen drama

    you can pick up the wonderfalls set for around 30 bucks or grab it off BT and if you dig the chick who plays Jaye she's been in a couple movies since...all playing the same ditzy gen y character with degrees of bad girlness (smoking weed fucking a married man ect lol)

    I completely forgot about Man vs. Wild. That and Survivorman are awesome. Pretty much the same show but two different styles.

    Ars, your setup sounds great, but I can't afford that box. I'll just reach around the back and swap the hdmi plug out if I have to.

    I'll check out survivorman too.

    Colbert enjoys playing the character so much. My brother-in-law actually believes he's a republican in real life.
