Lost Recommendation

    Hello all. So I lost my recommendation and my MMJ ID card. I've been going to this clinic that can look me up in their system, since I didn't lose my rec until right after I visited. But there is another local clinic that looks to offer quality medicine. They have Cannabis Cup Award Winning waxes that I must try!

    But of course, I need my original rec to register with a new clinic. Another thing is that I don't remember the name of the doctor I got my recommendation from. Any suggestions of what I could do? Thanks! :wave:

    No, I actually just renewed it. Left my recommendation in my friend's car the day I got it, and haven't heard from him since. Maybe in rehab again or something. :rolleyes:

    Any idea what I could do? Should I just go to a doctor and apply for a MMJ recommendation as if I'm not a registered MMJ patient? :confused:

    you dont remember your doctors name? do you remember where you obtained your rec? just go back there

    haha yea, and if you don't remember that then you should probably just start over with a legitimate dr this time ;)

    I didn't intentionally see an illegitimate doctor if that's what you're alluding to. I needed to renew my recommendation, and my friend wanted to get his so I just found one closest to us with decent ratings on Weedmaps. But I left my recommendation in his car that same day, who has unfortunately been in and out of rehab, so I don't think it's unusual that I don't remember the name of the doctor I met for about 15 minutes that I got my rec from 5 months after the fact.

    Either way, sounds like I'm stuck paying for a whole new rec :/

    Its not that you chose to, its just that it may be a better (and safer) idea to get your prescription drugs handed out by someone who you have a bit of doctor patient history with rather than a doctor who (it sounds like) specializes in charging lots of money to hand out recs like candy (basically). Don't take offense man, I guess thats the norm at least in CA, but there are better ways of going about it...

    Alright man I understand you smoke weed, but how do you lose your recommendation, MMJ ID card, and forget the doctors name? That's just irresponsible.

    At this point you can't do much but just get another one.

    i must be missing something here, i would think even if you dont remember your docs name youd still remember WHERE you got your rec? and would be able to go to that place again? when i lost my rec i just went back to the place i got it from and they printed me a new one (charged me 10 bucks but watever), i didnt need to know the exact doctors name they have you on file.
