Lately I have become completely disintrested in eating. It used to be only when im sober, but now even when im high i sometimes struggle to choke down some food. I still get hungry, but when i look at food i lose all desire to eat it. I am already seriously underweight, and i dont want it getting any worse. Have any of you guys had the same issue? I need some recomendations on getting my apitite back.
blaze more? idk, but there must be some food that you enjoy eating more than other? if so, get some of that good stuff and munch but if you are "seriously underweight", you might want to go see a doctor
welcome to my world (bar mexican food and quiznos) I've actually had to resort to counting calories and forcing myself to eat a certain amount every meal so I can maintain my weight.
I dont know. I get hungry, try to think of something i want to eat and get nothing. then i go look in the fridge and cupboards and there is tastey stuff there, i just feel sick to my stomach looking at it. Its to the point of physical nausea, and im worried it could turn into bullemia (sp?) I will probably go to the doctor today. do you think it would be worth bringing up medical marijuana? could they perscribe that for appetite loss in canada? also, i dont want to be stuck on some fucked up drug that has crazy side effects and could harm me in the long run. I also will refuse to go to any eating disorder shit or therapy. im really not ready for that. anyone know what i should expect from the doc?
You'll probably just get your appetite back in time. In the mean time, just try to make yourself to eat a little bit, like just drink some OJ every day to make sure you're getting your vitamin C, and make sure you've got the stuff at hand to make yourself a light sandwich when you feel you can manage it. I've been there, but not from weed. Just don't stress, your body should sort itself out. EDIT: just read and saw about the seriously underweight bit. You could make sure you start eating some calorie dense foods, like nuts and raisins. The beauty of that as well is you can eat as many / few as you like, decide your own portions. I'm really no pro, wish I could give better advice, but I wish you luck.
op, i just remembered that beer makes me mad hungry usually, so try drinking a little bit of beer before dinner?
Make pot brownies, eat to get high. There's your interest. If all else fails see a dietician or a nutrionist. This can become an eating disorder which is very serious.
so update, just incase anyone was wondering. I ended up going to the doctor, with the idea of mmj in mind and he showed me exactly what this was doing to my body. He was not too keen on mmj, and wanted to perscribe me some sort of pills. (forget which now) long story short he made some recomendations on meals and how to regain my appitite and effectivley scared me into eating again. my appitite still wavers, but i started a t-break and that seemed to help a bit too after a few days.
