Losing favorite pieces.

  1. So I figure there would be a few seasoned tokers who recently or not as recently have lost their bong or other valued paraphernalia due to being too cautious.
This relies heavily on the fact that seasoned tokers are not necessarily older than twenty five and financially independent.

So share with us if you will. How did you come to lose your favorite piece out of caution?

Naturally I have my own short experience. Now I've lost cheap pipes and home made bongs frequently - never out of caution - being frequently low on money left me never investing in nice pieces.
Then on a road trip we happened on a small town after crossing the border into a state where bongs were legal. There it was that I saw it, the fifteen centimeter ceramic beauty for twenty dollars.

Needless to say, since that adventure I fell in love with that piece. Never again will one be just like it and never will any other bowl relive the experiences that one had witnessed.

Sadly, due to my love for it I placed my bong in my safe, protecting it from my younger, also toking brother. I had two keys, one in my room, one in my wallet. Over time the one in my room was misplaced through moving or shifting my room around. This last weekend I was pick pocketed and never mind spending days getting banks to undo the debt racked up on my debit cards I lost the key to the safe.

My wonderful little piece will probably not survive the opening of the safe. Due to the contents of the safe it's unlikely I'll be trusting enough in a trained professional to calmly open the safe.

So ends the story of jungle fever. My Small, black, green, orange and yellow companion
