Since when is Northridge close to Santa Monica? Maybe the Northridge quake did more damage than I thought. ;)

Green Angel in Malibu used to have a great vapor lounge but many of these lounges and hash bars are being closed down due to city ordinances.

Buddy...some of us don't have the convenience of living in downtown LA or the valley. I'll be more explicit in case your having a hard time catching on: basically, some of us are used to driving 30 minutes - an hour to get our medicine, opposed to walking out our front doors and going to the corner. If you actually knew anything about the distribution of collectives in LA county, you would know that the only thing remotely close to SM is GAM and the shitty collectives in Venice, hence, it would be expected that the OP is willing to drive at least 30-45 minutes.

And that is pretty fucked up to crack a joke about the Northridge earthquake, I had family that died in it.

I agree, it WOULD be fucked up to make a joke about the Northridge quake if I KNEW that you had family that died in it. I was just stating that due to the quake, it may have moved Northridge closer to Santa Monica. It was NOT a personal attack on you.

Lighten up there, phire. I was just adding a bit of comic relief. My intent was not for you to take it seriously and I'm truly sorry for your lose.

BTW, before dealing out negative rep, you may want to first find out what the persons intent was with their posts before pulling the trigger. Without the visual clues, a lot of misunderstanding can occur with the written word.

Well naturally, you don't joke about serious events unless you are professional comedian who can pull it off gracefully, which you have mistaken yourself to be. I interpreted your joke as a blow to my mental well being and intellect, not as Northridge literally, physically moving towards Santa Monica. You still need to understand though, a forum regarding MMJ, medicine that serves as a lifeline for many people, is no place for joking around.

  12. I've been a long standing member in the medical community as well as long standing member over in the med forums at weedtracker. I use MJ strictly for medical reasons and only go to those dispensaries, such as CornerStone, that serves the medical community rather than the dispensaries that cater to the recreational crowd.

In my opinion, there is ALWAYS room for levity. There is ALWAYS a reason not to take yourself too seriously. Self deprecation is sometimes just what is needed to heal ones internal wounds.

Again, my intent was not to hurt your feelings. Apparently, I have done so, and I apologize, but I will continue to add levity to serious situations, for they seriously deserve it from time to time, if for nothing else but to help keep things in perspective.

  13. That's respectable enough, I apologize for exploding at you, misinterpretation is certainly one of the pitfalls of communicating over the internet. BTW, what is your weedtracker sn?

  14. Same as here as well as at fuckcombustion.com

  15. Convinience living in the valley?? Buddy, just like any city it has its bad parts, and its good parts. Come to the valley and swing by Van Nuys, Pacoima, or North Hollywood where I live. People always try spewing bullshit how the valley is just middle class white people when it isn't. The only good cities I know of in the valley would be Valley Village, Burbank, and the Arts Districts'.

I suggest actually driving 30 minutes away from your home and actually 'see' what it all is. Because if you're going to tell me you've actually been to Pacoima, or Noho you're telling me if you had the opportunity you would jump on it in a heart beat to move you and your family out there? To raise your children in these neighborhoods? Child please.

I think your doing much to put words in my mouth. Whoever said the valley was dominantly middle class white people? I said the valley is convenient in regards to MMJ access, I said nothing in how "nice" of a neighborhood Van Nuys and Noho are, I never said I would want to move my kids out there. Personally, I think most of the Valley is a shit hole, it's just a coincidence that a good portion of the collectives are out there. Oh my, you are having a hard time understanding my post, the reason why I mention people driving over 30 minutes to get their medicine is because I DO JUST THAT. I live in Ventura city man, I drive at least 3 hours round trip no matter what collective I go to.

  17. I apologize. I admit, I didn't read your entire post (skimmed through most of it), but as soon as I read "convenient" in the valley I tripped, because I 'always' hear bullshit arguments about how the valley is middle class and up.

I apologize for misunderstanding your post.

  18. lol so i came into this thread looking for a bunch of hash bars, and it seems as if this thread is everything BUT hash bars. haha

at least i came up on a few of good spots to hit up. anyone have advice for MMJ patient in the 909? i drove out to glendale the other day for a really nice dispensary that had high ass reviews on weedmaps.
