I don't care if she's 17, she's one hell of a vocalist, an amazing lyricist and has a great message. I'd tap it. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
She's ugly as fuck, the photo posted by OP is make up and photoshop to the fullest. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Her songs are soo unique, that's why I love her. I'm obsessed with 400 lux Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Women are sexier when they don't form to society's molds. Lorde is one amazing vocalist, her songs actually mean something despite the mindless shit that's on the radio today. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Isn't that what makeup is for? To make them pretty/prettier? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I agree, although she's very cocky and arrogant now that she got famous so quickly. At least she probably won't turn into a twerk star. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
she has that natural look, not caked with make up posing for the best looking shot, its just HER doing Her music... something not many singers/artists carry anymore
I think she's young and quite silly to be honest. She tries very hard not to fit in and appears forced. As a fellow New Zealander it's cool to see someone making it big but with an American singing accent she is just as conformist as the society she tries so desperately to rebel from. She's very opinionated and quite clearly thinks better of herself than others, but like I said, still sings with a phoney accent. Ah, commercialism.
Can you point out examples of her singing with a phony accent? I'm just curious, because singing has always sort of seemed to transcend accents to me. There are bands I listened to for years without knowing they were British, or bands I didn't realize were American, etc.
Maybe the Beetles are a bad example, but I always thought they sounded distinctly British. Same with the Arctic Monkeys, you can definitely hear the English in there.
