it took nearly a year before I could roll good looking joints. Everyone has their own unique way of rolling.. so just keep trying. do things you think'd work and you'll end up rolling a joint your way.

when you roll the paper around the weed before you lick it. Thats what gets you a tight joint. Pack the weed together. If you dont know what i mean ill try to explain it better or show a vid

 

I started with the dollar bill method (look it up, im lazy) and it worked like a charm. Once i got the hang of it i started handrolling and by now, only like 6 months later i can roll some of the best joints around.

 

One trick I used about thirteen years ago, when I was a newbie. Was to use a dollar bill. Roll your joint as tight as you can with only your fingers. Then fold a dollar bill in half, so the shorter side of the dollar is where the fold is. Then place your joint in that crease. Pinch the dollar bill together and start moving your fingers up and down. So you are rolling it through your fingers.

If you smoke tobacco, then buy a tin of rolling tobacco for about 40 bucks, and roll your next 200-300 cigs yourself. Good practice, and baccy is cheaper than weed. It's cheaper than buying packs anyway, and less shit in them.

 

lol! Are you kidding me! Just take a look at the photos I posted above. Roll your joint like normal. Then place it in a folded dollar bill. The roll the joint through your fingers using the dollar bill. I tried to show this as best as possible with the last two photos. Good luck!

 

Yes the rolling your own cigs is a good practice, cause honestly man, that is how you roll better j's, is practice. Try rolling with just your thumbs, or try folding the ends over.

If anything just buy size 1 1/2 papers for more room to work with and don't give up!

 

you can pack it tighter by packing it down with a pen or pencil

 

Dollar bill method sounds gross to me bro, if you wanna roll a good joint be a cheater like me and get a joint roller.

 

yeah dude, most dollar bills have feces, cocaine residue, and probably some heroin addicts ADD blood or something

joint rollers are only a few bucks
also if you tap the mouth end of the joint on something it packs it down like when you buy a new pack of cigs.

That's the key. Take your time and if necessary two papers almost gaurantee a tight and slow burning joint.

Im a noobie at rolling too...
When i do roll,
And its loose, i just cut it open, pour the weed out, and do anoither one until its semi-tight
Never takes more then 3 times

 

if its not tight enough once glued, i usually use something like the flat end of a drill bit (clean one) or any stick with a flat end big enough to push and compress weed towards your roach, then add more weed press down... and repeat till you like it.

put all the bud on the paper, make sure it's even... then roll it up... it just takes a little bit of tricky hand work. once you figure out how to do it you're going to be like "oh my god this is so fucking easy why did I make such a big deal out of rolling?"
