    My friend picked up this batch of delicious looking purple nugs. It looked and smelled nice, plus it was a shade of purple neither of us had seen on any buds before. We packed up a spoon and my buddy took the first hit. He started coughing hard and told me that the smoke was extremely harsh and thick. I hit it next and he was dead on. It felt like I was smoking oil. We decided to pack a bong with some water and tons of ice, hoping it might help a little. Not a chance. Not only did it remain a very harsh smoke, it seemed to be slightly less potent than mids and just a bit better than regs. Sorely, sorely disappointing.

    hmm intresting im in west coast and ive has similar looking buds small nugs but mines was more crystaly than urs.and was sweet smelling taste very good and high was very giddy and up.:hello: guess i got the better batch

    I feel like purps just have that mean harsh thick drag to them because the purple is obviously some sort of pigment you're burning.

    But last time I got purps it was the same thing looked and smelled really good and then made me want to punch a children because it hurt like crazy to smoke. I think it's just as good as any greens as far as high but it hurts so bad to smoke that it ruins your buzz.

    I've had Grandaddy Purps before and that was good. At least I think that's what it was, everybody has a song and a dance to sell their shit. GP was good and got me high.

    I see things like this on LI a lot. Strains that have/had potential to be really good but somewhere along the way just didn't come out that great.

    That purp is a little darker than the good purp i've come across. Also, it looks a little leafy but might just be a bad trim job, cant really tell from the one pic.

    Also I usually find bongs to be the worst way to smoke something that's already harsh. Water and ice helps but the fact that it's a bong and you're just pulling a lot of thick smoke kinda negates any good the water and ice is doing. Sometimes the smoke kinda turns brown, you get a horrible taste in your mouth and when you cough/spit afterwards it'll have brown streaks in it. EGHH

    OP I got those in the summer twice at awful prices... They didn't smoke for shit and smelled average. Definitely some higher ups trying to boof low levels with the purple color and low quality, bunch of bull shit.

    might be dyed? i heard somewhere people can dye their plants so they go all purple and look amazing when its still schwag... cos it looks like your bud is all purple instead of just the bud or leaf which is what it tends to be?

    Not gonna lie i have had the same exact looking bud on LI. It sucks dick. my dude gets it every once in a while and im pretty sure its dyed or something. I mean it was decent smoke, not regs imo, but it wasn't too natural looking. Smelled like.... not dank, like nothing maybe some dirt smell. it wasnt what i expected at all. that being said, ill never buy that again.... lol

    i've heard of people dipping bud in food colouring , all sorts to make it look like dank but realy it's just some premiture shwag :(

    I take baby hits from the bong anyhow, as I suffer from a medical condition called "Pussy Lungs".

    I got a semi when I saw this stuff. I'd never seen anything like it before, so I thought he got some straight Cali medical grade stuff lol. I should have known it would be shit when the guy gave it to him in a jar with a butterfly on the cap.

    Remember when i smoked my first nug of some purple and it had crystals and orange hairs and i was all excited and shit. Then when i smoked it wasn't any better then a normal haze high or even worse i was just disappointed.:mad:

    haha looks can be decieving, cos last night i had some shit that looked like normal mids... we were fucked by the FIRST JAY between 3 of us and we decided to have a second and we basically monged all night and one of us puked :L shiieeet man still have a blunt of that stuff left mofo.
