so i think imma get two 4’x2’x?’ Tents and get out of my multichamber 3x4 to save that extra foot coming off bedroom wall. Gonna put them both on same wall by window and vent. One to flower and other to clone/seedling/veg. As soon as taxes come in “mid feb” Im ordering. Plan on filling veg up with qb132 and using my 4 qb288 in the other 4x2 Maybe take out one self in the clone/seedling/veg tent. My other thought is to get 2 metal lockable cabinet(about a grand for two, hoping to find used) and convert to grow cabinet so I don’t have to take down during yearly rental inspections.. thoughts, ideas? Besides buy a house lol
The lockable cabinets will have to have vents at the top and bottom so you'd have to make sure they were covered, plus there is the smell of the plants or the noise of the exhaust fan. Could that be suspicious to your landlord? When I have my inspections I have to completely disassemble my two tents and it's a nightmare so I understand why you want to avoid it I have two 2.5' x 4' tents and it's a really good set up. One has a soil bed covering the entire floor for flowering in and the other tent is used for vegging and cloning but I also grow autos in there at the same time because there is space left. I've had this set up for several years now and it works really well for me
I found a shop that will cut the hole for me on the Steele cabinets. And I’ve found one way inlet vents. Also was gonna but top of the line fan to be quiet. Would just hit switch to turn off. Didn’t think about how smell would be if it happened to be at end of flowering at the time. Last inspection I hid plants in kids closet and kept they play table in front of it so they didn’t ask to see inside. With cabinets not sure I wanna spend 500$ plus $ to convert. Will prob go with those two tents. Thanks for advice!
If I go that way imma get 16G Steele. From what I hear hard to get thru without a plasma cutter. Someone made whole in one with an dusk saw type thing. Said it was hard
I have the 2x4 Gorilla Tent it's nice it's my first and only tent at the moment had it 5+ years now so I can't really compare to anything. What I have to say about it though is that it is a good tent sort of as they advertise but it has cons. The following cons for me are: The storage net really weak I tried to use it as they advertised broke on me lol use it lightly to just hold feed chart and clippers etc. The velcro on the sides to hold doors open stop sticking but luckily there is 2 sets but the other ones will go out too. I don't know what to do after that add my own velcro? I don't open the back vent or windows as much as I I use the door velcro but I am pretty sure I might fall into the same issue. I just love having my doors open and looking at my garden. The spill tray is messed up for me now. My cat pissed in the tent so after I cleaned it up with water and bleach some of it looks and feel like the material for car visor lol. It is a really thick tent might need some help with this little one. Just wanted to give my review of it since there are no reviews on youtube of people really testing out the tent just side by side comparisons. Good luck!
Ty! 5 years, damn. Good investment! I went with hydrobuilder for first tent. Lots of pen hole light leaks in the stitching and zipper. Sucks about velcro For the doors, my mind is already coming up with ideas by the second. Let me marinate on it, I’ll come up with a clever idea for it! I do think imma spend the exta and get gorilla brand for flowering
