ive done some reading on this after a friend mentioned how easy it was. just a few thoughts 1 do you need some special timer for the pump? how often do you pump the water in? most places just mention how long you want it to take to drain out, not how often you do it or what kind of pump to use. 2 i was thinking of doing the rubbermaid tub style. have the plants sitting on the lid, with another tub under it for the res. how big do the tubs need to be? im assuming that bigger roots still equals bigger plants, or does the constant watering help keep the plant from needing a huge rootball. my tent is only 5 feet tall and the leds need to be 18 inches above the top of the plants. doesnt leave much room for massive tubs. sorry if some of this stuff sounds kinda...beginner level. thats why i put it here.
