Looking into my first "scientific glass" piece

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs & Bubblers' started by PuFyy, Aug 29, 2012.

  1. I will only be using this for bud, no concentrates. So far a couple pieces have caught my interest and I was looking for feedback. The pieces are

    1. Brian Wilson 6 arm bubbler
    2. Headford inline triple doughnut bubbler
    3. Andy D double chamber bubbler

Now i was also wondering if putting money down on a scientific piece is a waste if you dont have access to concentrates

  2. Definitely not a waste at all... Scientific pieces originally were more geared towards flowers in that they normally aim for a higher level of diffusion than is genuinely wanted with a piece thats made specifically for oil. Concentrates seem to be booming right now so a lot blowers are making dual purpose pieces or straight oil-rigs.

    1) Probably the best of the three but I think it has a bit of a chug too it when clearing.

    2) A personally think they look unappealing aesthetically speaking but I've water tested this exact piece and it functioned really nice. Personally I wouldn't get this as my first piece of scientific glass.

    3) Probably the cheapest of the bunch but your going to have to deal with a non pullable push style bowl into carb set up which is not preferable to most people.

My vote goes towards Wilson 6 arm but I think his brothers 15 arms is a superior piece of glass.

  3. And what about the headford disk diffsued bubbler?

This response is fucked haha except definitely go with the BEN Wilson. I almost got one and I've hit the leisure 15, it's very nice. And of course it's superior

  5. Its Ben Wilson not Brian. Him and his brothers are all under the Leisure title. I'd say thats the best choice for what you posted, but definitely not the best for your cash in the scientific glass department.

Do you want a bubbler? because you only posted bubs.

Check out Apix design. He just put some stemlines and stem to disks on his website for a good price. I'm thinking of grabbing one even though I got a custom disk to disk by him already.

Yeah they're all under leisure but Ben and jake both release glass under their own names regularly. Jake is harder to find. Sounds to me like this is a perfect first scientific piece for the op. My first scitific piece was a worked inline ac I bought a j hook for. Loved that piece!
