  1. Ive been running a cheaper 400w blurple which i mean did good for the purposes of a test run but now that i got my method down to a tee its time to improve my lighting source to get it off my list.

  3. If it's only 5 feet tall I think 4 qb132's might be your best option for the price.
    QB132 V2 Quantum Boards
Wire in series to this driver. It's a little over $210 or so with hangers and wire. 300 watts + potential with a built in dimmer.

Run the boards in a linear row of 4 longways across the tent.

  4. Thanks for the info guys! I really appreciate it. So as someone like myself who's relatively new to the whole quality LED market and absolutely no experience assembling or wiring quantum boards what are the essentials i need to know?

  6. Rly tho. There are some top notch vids of hlg assemblies in series and parallel online. So good I had to watch it once and it stuck. I assembled my second two from memory. Any of us who have done it can walk u thru it in a few min. Hardest part is getting cord the right length to fit the waterproof connector(if u chose to use it) u can also just use all waygos

    Agreed 132s

    Edited for rambling

  8. This is a good video putting together a 4 board fixture with qb120's. Your boards are slightly different if you use the qb132 and the driver is more powerful but the wiring, ect is the same and this should give you an idea of the basics. Also he's building a square frame and you'll probably want to go with linear for the best spread in a 2x4.

The qb132's don't need a heatsink so in a short tent you'll be able to get them closest to the top.

  9. If you go 400W or so HLG it will probably outperform what you're doing. You'll also get a lot of people on here to help you configure it and lay out. Good value. If you want a finished light, hit up raymatix and message them. They are doing an initial launch and "flagship program" if you message them about it. I know they're doing it when they launch this month. Don't know the discount.
