Looking for suggestions on a vaporizer

  1. I'm looking for a new vaporizer, $150 or less is my price range. I am looking for something that I can just take a few hits from and set it down. Something that I dont have to wait a while to heat up, I can set down, and vape some more later.

I am mainly looking for personal use, or me and a friend could take a few tokes from, preferably something smaller but not limited to that I could travel with every now and again and bring to a friends house. I was looking at the launch box but I don't want to have to be sitting next to a battery charger while I'm vaping.

Some of the things I was looking at would be the da vinci/ascent, the pax (but it's too expensive....unless I want to cough up another $50, just can't quite justify it for my first vape).

I usually smoke to relax, and I don't have a very high tolerance. 2-3 small hits from a bowl and I am done, which is why I was looking at something I could set down and pick up and use later without having to empty or worry about it getting burnt up while not in use.

    Thanks for the help guys.

  2. I have a solo I can take a few puffs then pull the stem out then put it back in later.

I can put just a little in.

Takes about 2-2 1/2 minutes to heat up. Level 3 my preferred setting. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1396492958.646349.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1396492958.646349.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1396492999.995433.jpg

  3. Solo doesnt sound at all like what you are looking for.

Look in to the flash vape. It works a lot like a MFLB but it comes with 18650 batteries.

  4. It meets all of his criteria. But ya I'm sure you know a lot more about vapes than I do.

  5. I was also gonna say the solo.

  6. Mflb just get some extra batteries

Sent from my iPod touch using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  7. I guess its all relative but it doesnt really heat up fast compared to vapes like the MFLB, Flash Vape, or Firefly. And there are just in my opinion better vapes out there for someone who just wants to take a couple hits then put it down. I own a solo and I love it for what it does Its just not as simple as say a heat on demand vape for taking a couple puffs than sitting it down.

I am fully confident that a solo would work for what he wants, but I also think there are other vapes that better suit his criteria. If I was looking for a vape to do that (that is battery powered) I would be looking at the MFLB, the flash vape, firewood, and firefly.

  8. I have solo and I use it the way you intend to, I put a little take 4 hits and put aside. It takes a minute to heat up and the charge lasts very long, and only need to clean the glass stems.

  9. Looking at the Solo right now, found one for $60 brand new on ebay....hmmmm, much more reasonable than the $200 pax haha

  10.
    um...........what's wrong with this picture.

  11. Ya don't buy a new solo for 60 off of eBay.

How many has this person sold?

  12. Eh ya, shipping from Japan, seller has 0 reviews....guess I'll be looking more at $120 haha

  13. How would I be able to take a couple tokes from the solo and be able to set it down for a bit and pick up later? does it have a stand-by similar to the pax or?

  14. You would have to remove the stem every time unless you want it to keep heating your herbs.

  15. Glad you brought this up. Is Atmos actually as impressive as people have told me or is it just hype? I feel like a see a lot of Atmos fakes as well, similar to dome finding these $60 solos.

Any experience from anyone as far as "all-purpose" handheld vaporizers?

  16. The atmos is cheap junk and NOT A VAPORIZER. It is an epipe and nothing more. The BHOLT also burns.

Stop trying to solicit sales through this forum.

  17. I don't think he was trying to solicit sales, he's just offering his opinion on something I asked. I myself was skeptical of the many people I've heard of using Atmos, none of whom are "serious" smokers and didn't have much invested anyway. I appreciate hearing an honest response vs. the canned "GET ATMOS" drone that's apparent in my hometown.

I had never heard of the BHOLT, I was also looking at the O-Pen though. So many to choose from.

  18. "I got a couple of em, brand new, have prices lower than anyone"

Is trying to solicit sales imo.

Bholt, open, trippy stick, gpen, atmost, etc all burn. The omicron makes a cartridge that shouldn't burn but it is expensive.

  19.

Sure he is.    Here is a quote from one of his other posts:

"Well, I have a ton of brand new name brand vaporizers, unopened in their boxes. I have a website I just opened for them, about to start some PPC campaigns, maybe some Ebay listings."

  20. That's a shame. Either way I got an answer I suppose. I hope OP has gotten some kind of information by now too...
