I was wondering if anyone here had any knowledge or experience in the third eye? From my personal understanding it is a metaphorical vertical eye on your forehead, which allows you to see beyond your physical eyes, such as auras, life energy or visions. I have attempted Third Eye meditation a few times, but only once have I had a result, (ironically while I was listening to Third Eye by Tool) and all I saw was a dim light in the distance. Somehow it made me conclude that I had found my final destination in the distance, but the road that led there was still dark and cloudy. In a metaphorical sense at least. Has anyone here ever managed to open their Third Eye? What did it look like or feel like and were you on any drugs at the time? Also to other who have more knowledge in this, is it better or worse to attempt the meditation while I'm stoned? I've always been an atheist, but something lately has made me feel a little more... spiritual. Maybe opening my Third Eye will reveal the truth to me.
I recommend reading "the source field investigations" by David wilcock. I'm currently reading it and meditating daily. It's a process to achieve your final goal. I haven't been there yet but I hope to soon.
