Looking for ideas on what's going on with this plants leaves

  1. Hydroponic grow using ph perfect in 70 litre reservoir at 2ml per liter, plus 70 ml of calmag. Fem plants, humidity 45% at low 55%at high, ph 6.32, ppm 689, water temp 72f-73 room temp 67f-75f. First picture shows the one plant that has a messed up leaf. Second is my readings from the previous week and third is another plant with a different problem. 4 plant grow and only the 2 larger plants seem to have issues. There not dying by any means but looking to see what the verdict is on why there having these issues These plants are about a month from seed.

  2. Your pH should be 5.5 - 5.8, not 6.2.

  3. I'll adjust it with some ph down.

  4. You have severe over-feeding.
Following nute pusher feed charts is a recipe for bad plant health.
Too-green, downward clawing leaves (assuming good light) is the tipoff.
I had to recently reduce EC on my autos from 1.0 to 0.7 during the 8th and 9th weeks because leaf tips were oranging, and reservoir ppm was rising.

I keep hydro pH between 5.8 and 6.2 without problems.

The best fertilizer strategy I've seen is this:
If ppm goes down, the plants are eating more than they're drinking, so increase ppm.
If ppm goes up, the plants are drinking more than eating, so reduce ppm.
The goal is to get the ppm so that it stays constant from day to day, or falls a bit, then you'll be feeding correctly.
Make sure to include ppm from the questionable supplements many people use.

Contrary to what feed charts recommend, fertilizer needs go down after the huge plant mass increase that happens during veg. The plants don't need as much to make flowers.
I'll be down to EC=0.4 in a few weeks.

  5. I'm giving a relatively low feeding at 2ml per litre and the plants seem happy other than these two issues. I'll attach a picture of the instructions on the bottle. Also some screen shots from another post with someone elses recommendations for this nutrient line up. With just water and the nutrients (2ml per litre) I was around 728ppm which is about the same as the screenshot.

  6. Who are you going to believe.
The fertilizer companies who have a financial interest in getting you to over feed your plants.
Or your lying eyes that tell you something's wrong with following their recommendations.

    You have severe over-feeding.

I feel like I am way below the recommended use, but I have used these nutes for about 5 grows now and stand by them! Best of luck my friend!

  9. In agreement with the last posters, I too use AN ph perfect nutes and I am WAY below what the bottle says to feed.

Dont feed what the bottle tells you, feed what the plant tells you it wants!

Also try and get the ph down (I know you said you were going to) phosphorus is one of the big 3 if you stay locked out too long it will start showing signs of deficency

    Good luck

  10. Cut the nutes in half and ph them to 5.7 for this stage of growth mate.
No such thing as ph perfect hydro nutes. Just a gimmick sadly you’ve still gotta fix it yourself.

  11. This guy ^^^^^
Couldn’t have put it better myself. spot on.
listen to him OP . :)
