  1. [First Outdoor grow of this scale]
5 Femed seeds, 3-gal Mesh pots.
4 Bag-(White knuckle ((Dispensary-seeds)))) 3-gal Mesh pots. [ started first to YEEEEEEET males.]

    Soil mix is:

General Purpose Pro-mix:2 Cu Ft(13-16 gal)
    Natures living Soil Amendments: 3.5lb

    1lb / 5gal = 3lb(NLS) / 15gal(PM) roughly
    Plus 5 gal of (O-perlite)

    Total formula: =
    (12-16 Gallons Pro-Mix ; General Purpose)[I Trust them]
(3.5-5 Gallons Standard Organic Perlite)[Not Weighed]
    __((((3.5 Pounds Natures Living Soil Amendment)[Weighed] )
From (5lbs) Purchase (4.7lbs) Was received [no biggie])

    =Total Outcome
    10 (3 Gal Pots )
Filled = 2<=4 inches below Max fill (Max=top of mesh)
    _____

The Femed Seeds are Auto-Flower "Critical Purple" and obviously more of my top priority.

  2. All sounds good. You've been growing longer than me. But I can give my thoughts. How close are you to a river or a stream? Do you have a water basin with hose on your truck? It's going to take a lot of water for ten plants in pots. Now I don't know how many gallons you water but if it's 3 gal per plant, that's 30 gallons of water (250lbs/per watering of just water) you need to have on-site or bring in. Flushing would require possibly 60 gallons. (500lbs/per flush) That's a lot of water. And if it's not a hose / pump situation, that's a lot of weight to carry in per watering)

Get preying mantis egg and hatch them and release in your garden. Don't need any pest problems.

If I did an outdoor grow, 100% guerilla. No pots, no evidence. As if the seed fell from God's hands and just grew where it landed. Would want to be able to check it regularly without being noticed. Vandals will see a person walking in and out of woods or wherever you go and get curious. I'm speaking on my state. If you are in a legal state than sweet. We have different mind state.

It's hard to say what exactly to do. I mean I am flowering my first plants, you have been doing this for 10+ years, I think the roles should be reversed. :D

Thank you for the input SUPER appreciated in regards to the water situation. This had crossed my mind and my best hope is I do have a small stream about 50 yards from my fenced in grow area (Simple 36' Puppy fence thats about 8x8ft ATM [more coming..]) I was thinking i should just do a gravity fed water supply by just running a hose in some regard; because i do have a shallow well sadly. Making me think about problems i was trying to ignore.... damn you.... but thanks; you you are correct my friend. I need a lot of moisture..... crap...

edit: The math might also be a bit extreme on the water consumption from your hypothesis of equal parts soil/water; depending on how your watering schedule is. But thankfully its not guerrilla and I can grow 12 plants for adult use just in my garden ((privately)( Also not federally, but i mean state wise and such legally..))) but still; not wrong. I need a lot of water; and need the accessibility to be a constant not a variable..

I just trying to apply my horticulture Mentality to growing now after working outdoors for so long. Experience can only take you so far, but it's trying to actually retain the experience as knowledge; then implementing and learning from it that gets you the rest of the way.
Corny but- KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! Even if the end result is getting baked on a couch... still takes effort ;)
