Checked the usual suspects newegg, frys, tiger, etc for deals on a 500 gb to 1 tb external HD. Would prefer Firewire, but will accept USB. The cheaper the better - anyone know of any good deals?
Sorry would normally suggest this: Western Digital Elements 1TB External Hard Drive Hi.. | Ebuyer.com But with hard drive prices being as they are I would not suggest getting one for as long as you can as the price should drop in the next 6 months or so. I have heard that it might take up to 2 years for manufacturing facilitys to catch up with demand though, so the choice is yours. Did you want a laptop or desktop sized external (2.5", 3.5")?
