My grinder is pretty old. Was passed on from a friend, but the problem im having is it wont grind it as fine as i was expecting. I plan on using it to pack my oneie. Anyone know a trick to make it grind smaller.

Try cleaning it out has your friend cleaned it when he had it? Once it's cleaned it should be like a brand new grinder and it'll grind really good. How you clean it is, get some rubbing alcohol ( 90% or higher) and get some salt or uncooked rice. Open the grinder into separate pieces and put all the pieces into a ziplock bag. Then pour the rubbing alcohol and some salt or rice into the ziplock and shake it for a couple of mins. Then let it sit for an hour or two and then rinse the grinder pieces with water and you are good to go.
Make sure it has flat teeth and smooth threading. 3 chamber grinders work better. Brand name grinders are usually good like American grinder, cali crushers, or space case. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
