I need to put these into flower in the next 10 days. Due to the size of them I’m not sure if it’s worth it to put them into 5 gallon pots, but last time I used 3 gallon I wasn’t happy with the yield. What you guys think? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'd put them in 5 gallon pots. The roots will fill them out in flower. As they say.... Bigger the roots, bigger the fruits. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
I use 70/30 coco perlite And I’ve got some smart pots to use, I prefer them over the airpots, just using them to dry the coco Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
You can grow a 6' plant in a 2gal. bucket with coco. Anything more than 3gal. is unnecessary. Just remember it's soilless hydroponics - don't treat it like soil. Good luck.
That was my plan. I bought a 5 pack of 1 gallon fabric bags. But these 5 gallon smartpot/perlite/hempies are just so fine I'm losing my courage to experiment. It all depends on if my new qb 135w v2 3000k will adequately flower a 2x2 plant. If not then I may try the smaller pots and grow 3 plants under 2 lights.
