I have 5 females 1 week into full flower. My set-up is 600w hps 5 gal buckets soil. I have a cloning bubble bucket 16 sites. Ok so my problem is all 16 clones died. I need to have my new plants started. What would be my best option. Convert another closet for mothering and pull one of my females into the veg/ mother closet or cut new clones from the already flowering plants. What would be best choice. What Would you do personally? Sent from my SGH-T999 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Here's some pics maybe that will get me a response.Sent from my SGH-T999 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
What are the temps like in your cloning area? If theyre warm then id say just get some jiffy pucks, a cloning dome, and some rooting powder and u can take them off the flowering plants. But u will hurt the yld of those plants so I would recommend only taking 1-2 off each plant. As long as the pucks are wet and the area is warm u shouldnt need to even lift the top off the cloning tray and they will root
I haven't setup my cloning area I just built the clone bucket 1 1/2 weeks ago. The are off to a corner in the flower room. Temps are 70-75Sent from my SGH-T999 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Im thinking low water temps are the problem. I think im going to get a water heater for the clone tub.Sent from my SGH-T999 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Definitely need to look into other cloning methods. Should not all die like that! Taking clones now will slow your process about a week or 2 to reveg. Any longer and you will wait 4-6 weeks for the clones to regain their vigor. Your best option is to take the clones right now and do it with a standard humidity dome with a tray and heat mat. If you use rooter plugs and clonex, you almost can't mess that up! Some people have success doing super simple cloning methods but I've never been able to. That is the only way I've made it work and I tried every trick I've ever heard of. I have 100% success rate with that. After failing 1.5M potential clones with other methods I think I'm set on my humidity dome and heat mat. But maybe you will have better success in another way. Just speaking from experience that this is my fool proof method. Just to give you a little idea what happens to clones after you wait too long to take them in flowering, here is a pic of my "monster crop" clone. Took at week 3 flowering. In case you don't know, monster cropping makes your plant branch like a beast! It takes forever to reveg and start growing but when it does, it makes up for it. This just started growing fast finally. 1-2 more weeks if you remind me, I'll show you an updated pic and it should be a mini bush! It gets crazy weird growth when it first starts growing again. Un-serrated single blade leaves and branches growing everywhere!
Thank you for the advice, would a reptile heat mat from walmart work or should I just order a plant heat mat from amazon? I can get jiffy pellets at walmart at this time.Sent from my SGH-T999 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Wouldn't let me edit that last post to add a pic.. So here is my clone from a week 3 flowering plant. *i took clones from the same mother a week before the clone in the pic. The others turned out normal and didn't really have to reveg. The growth was a bit slower though. The difference in week 2 to week 3 can set you back many weeks so try taking them as soon as you can. Unless you have time and patience to watch clones reveg because it can set you up for a fucking massive harvest if you do it right. All up to what you want to do and what is best suited for your needs. Makes for a fantastic mother plant too, so that could be another option for you and would make a perpetual grow very easy. It would provide as many clones as you could ever need. These are two different strains. Both taken at the same time. Pretty consistently happens at week 3 no matter the strain. Any I've used anyway.
Heres some pic from my last harvest, a little early I think but my partner was pushing to harvest even though I knew better.Sent from my SGH-T999 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

I just got the hydro farm humidity tray, dome, and heat mat on amazon with rapid rooter plugs and clonex. I've had success with other brand root hormone too. Aloe works too. You can save money by getting a cheap tray and dome if you don't want to spend $30 on the one I suggested. Jiffy pellets would work fine with that too. The heat mat makes it easy because not only does it keep the root zone nice and warm but it evaporates the water in the tray that you add and it makes it very humid which clones need.
Did u say u wer cloning in your flowering room? I would suggest at least 18 hours of light a day for cloning. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
