CBD Looking for a potent CBD strain that gives a head high

Discussion in 'CBD Oil' started by Keesia, Sep 2, 2022.

  1. Has anyone had any experience with a head high with CBD flower that they know of? What strains are they? I've read online about CBD Head Highs, but I don't want to screw up by spending unnecessary money by buying the wrong one. Thanks!

  2. THC = Stone
    CBD = Anti-stone.

Smoking high CBD flowers will prevent you from getting stoned no matter how much high THC you ingest until the CBD wears off.

Pure THC is to sharp edged by itself and unpleasant so a touch of CBD dulls the tip a bit. However when the CBD ratio gets to high it flat out prevents any stone at all.

I've had some experience growing my CBD strains in the backyard. Unfortunately, I can't state the name of the person who sold it to me because he prefers to stay anony'vemous. However, I didn't like the result. It is better to try it in another form. I tried so much of it in different forms, but I'd never been completely high. I understood that addiction is not that good,, so I stopped using it. Now I only buy CBD oil to deal with my evening migraines and release the periods' pains. This class and amount of use is healthy and doesn't lead to addiction. I suggest you try If you need to release the headache, but you won't get stoned that way.

  4. Look for strains that have a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD.
We sell one called Honeybells. It clocks in at around 9% THC and 10% CBD. It’s our most popular strain for the low tolerance crowd. Super med properties as well. Hell, it even tastes great, which is in uncommon in high CBD strains

  5. How high % is a high CBD flower?

My wife has been having pain and inflammation in one of her legs. Her doctors is still doing a bunch of tests.

My favorite dispensary got in some CHEETAH PISS (24% THC, 0.5% CBD) which received some pretty good reviews for pain management, so I got her a 1/2 oz to try (also got myself a half and also a 1/2 oz of Apples and Bananas). That 0.5% CBD doesn't sound like very much and nowhere near that 1:1 ration mentioned. OR MAYBE with the high THC that you simply don't care about about the pain that the CBD doesn't get...

  6. Well, that’s definitely not what I would consider a high CBD strain, although it contains nearly twice the concentration of legal hemp.
Another point to consider is that it’s not just the cannabinoid content of a strain that contributes to the holistic potential. You have to know what it’s terpene profile can do for you as well. Terpenes are responsible for combining their effects with those from the cannabinoids to create a more full spectrum approach to an ailment. We refer to this as the entourage effect.
Terpenes can have a huge impact on pain management, especially inflammation. The body is amazing though, and everyone will have a different metabolic make up that will react to all of this differently from the next person. It’s not a one size fits all scenario, to be sure. It would benefit you both to get to know what cannabinoid/ terpene profiles work the best for your given medical conditions. This can be relatively simple, depending on the dispensary that you have access to. I’d recommend that you seek out one that specializes in growing organically, particularly one that utilizes “ living soils”. I’ve grown every way possible throughout the years, and nothing finishes cannabis like a healthy microbial population!
Make sure that the employees are super knowledgeable in terpenes and the entourage effect I mentioned. Ask to see their lab reports and the concentrations of the terps and cannabinoids. Some of our clients keep journals to document their journey towards finding the perfect combinations. Once you understand the way these ratios work, you as a consumer have a powerful tool that you can use to guide you through a menu at any dispensary you go to. Just make sure that they post the test results, not all of them have the balls to do so.
One last comment on CBD. IMO… it is indeed the wonder compound. But again, it needs to be sourced from a reputable cultivator. Much of the online hemp based products can be of extremely low quality. With a little luck, the same organic dispensary will carry a quality CBD line. Once vetted, Pay attention to the milligrams that you are consuming with each dose. Many folks respond to lower doses and 5-10 mg can be beneficial. But again, it’s different for everyone, and it may take more, much more even, to get relief.
As an example, I personally started taking CBD in moderation, usually around 50 mg twice a day for chronic back pain. It did ok but the breakthrough for me was when I upped the dosage to 250 mg at least once a day if not twice. It would take a 8-10 pain level down to a 2-3 in no time.
I’m rambling now… here’s a link on terpenes for you!

  7. I grew 4 CBD diesel from crop king first time ever this past season.
    I got 1.5 lbs dried and cured.:weed:
Funny thing is , they all look and smell different ? As far as CBD buzz, I got buzzed but it isnt like a THC buzz, just a really nice warm full body buzz. I really like it,but, it's not for everyone like JMcGD. I gave my wife 40 mg CBD oil last nite, she puked it right up.

  8. Welcome back to that one size doesn't fit all issue. Your really going to have to experiment with the various strains to see if there is improvement of this one over that one.

Edibles are another path to explore. Your Liver transforms Delta-9-THC into the much stronger 11-Hydroxy-THC. For those of us that find high THC to give relief many turn to edibles as they are far cheaper because you generally stay stoned all day on what you'd smoke in one setting lasting 45 minutes of high.

Part of the relief is just the de-focusing of your attention on the pain. It still hurts but it is off to the side now and not so all up in my face demanding my full attention.

  9. Hmmm… I haven’t heard of anyone vomiting from CBD. Maybe she had an allergic reaction. What kind of oil did you use ?

  10. I grew a Blacklight CBD from Sensi seed bank last run and I really loved it. So much so that I'm growing another this run in my 4x2 (along with a potent SODK from Mephisto). She was a pretty good yielder and tasty, kinda lemony and earthy flavours.
    From the site:
Black Lights CBD Automatic is an indica / sativa / ruderalis hybrid. It’s a feminized automatic strain, and grows well in temperate conditions. The THC to CBD ratio is 2:1, with THC levels of 12 to 15%. The plants have a sweet, fruity aroma and grow to average heights. They produce high yields for an automatic and have an average flowering time. The effect is deeply relaxing, with a hint of uplift.

What I found that she was surprisingly strong but very pleasant, the bonus being that the high seems to last longer than straight-up high THC strains.

Seeds are 50% off right now but sadly out of stock...

  11. another easy way is to acquire both THC-a and cBD-a dried cannabis and mix the two together for the best ratios . it helps to match terpene profiles somewhat so the CBD and THC weed jibe

The description of Black Lights CBD Automatic as an indica/sativa/ruderalis hybrid with a 2:1 THC to CBD ratio sounds intriguing. The fact that it grows well in temperate conditions and produces high yields for an automatic strain is certainly a plus. It's good to hear that the effect of this strain is deep relaxation with a touch of vigor. In the meantime, I suggest getting into virtual gaming, especially since I found more Explosino promo code https://casinosanalyzer.com/casino-bonuses/explosino.com here and now I just have to play for that bonus) Interesting to note that the Blacklight CBD strain seemed unexpectedly strong but enjoyable. The longer lasting high compared to high THC strains is certainly a valuable trait. It's a shame that the seeds are currently out of stock, especially considering the 50% discount. Hopefully they will be back in stock soon and you can continue to enjoy this exceptional strain.
