Longest cure ever?

  1. Let's say hypothetically you have a medical grow and literally just as you are about 2-3 months into the cure, a situation comes up and you need to quit smoking weed for an unknown number of years, like maybe going on 3 and are unsure of when you will ever get to smoke again. It might be another 2 years (making about 4-5 years cure) or it could be even longer.

And let us say the weed is in sealed glass jars in an opaque container in a dry, dark place that has a consistent temperature of around 65 degrees F.

I've read that weed can last decades and it will end up being excellent like a vintage wine. Is this true? If not, how long can it be expected to last and still have a decent high?

  2. I don't think its like wine and never stops getting better. IMO, at one point it will get to where it's reached its max cure. Then, it will only start to degrade in quality/potency/smell. How long does it take to get to that point? No idea. I'd say, try it. Put a jar somewhere and dont open it but once every 6 months to a year. Shoot, make it Christmas day bud or something. LOL. Open it on December 25th ONLY to test it. Record how it is and compare it to the year before. A study like that would be interested to say the least.

  3. I would just sell the shit and grow some more 3 years from now.

  4. K thanks for the input guys!
