Hey everyone so I’ve been growing a number of years and I’m having a real problem now in my flower the last few pulls. I’ll start by saying that I’m running A recirculating system, using the heavy 16 line and use 630 lec as lights. I have multiple rooms and all my plants veg in the same spot but this is the only room I’m having the issues in. The past two pulls around week 6 I’m getting fan leave drying up browning and dying. This by week 7 start to affect the flowers turning them brown and yellow and it forced me to take down to early to salvage what I could. I cleaned some things brought in a new round and the same thing happens but started in week 7 so it improved slightly but still ultimately had to take down early. The flowers were both times not very large but the quail it’s and nose was still there. The roots are more brittle than usual but not rotting (checked smell) the ph is checked everyday, the ppm’s are on point, the room is not hot, and they are not over fed. I’ve tried cleaning everything, I’ve tried teas. What’s really confusing me is the same exact set up in other places is having no issues it’s just this room. I reallllllly need some help figuring this out as for the 3rd time it is happing again and this time it’s already starting week 2… please ask any question you may have and in advance I appreciate any and all feedback to help me out. Thank you!
the dreaded Claw!!! the clue is in the plants color ...too green excess (N) twist and claws leaves as above miss a feeds is an idea Fix Curling or Clawing Cannabis Leaves | Grow Weed Easy good luck
Delta 10’s 4x4x4 in a 1 gallon pot with about 6” of loose fill. I’ve been running this same system for years no problem and also same veg plants in another room same exact set up are fine.
To agree with previous posters and expand a bit, I vote for a compound condition including more nitrogen than she wants, much less potassium than she wants and maybe a root zone issue. Root zone issues: seems unlikely unless all girls on that line are suffering too. Throwing darts here, but could there be something with her air source maybe? Like a weak pump, partially clogged airline, overheating pump raising water temp or something? Sent from my SM-S901U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
By air pump you mean in the reservoir or my air filter circulating ambient air? If you think this maybe a nitrogen issue do you have any suggestions for rapidly fixing that issue? Also do any of you have any advice on something I could do to promote new root growth/ stimulation? Thank you again to all taking the time to help.
Was talking about the air pump in your water. I assumed by recirculating that you mean RDWC. If not, my suggestions are totally off base.
