So let's say I want to stockpile and store some herb for a winter or ten. What's the best way to store your smoke long term? Vacuum seal and place in the freezer? I'm talking potentially years of storage. Thanks!
Storing for "years" isn't viable, I'm sorry to say. The THC *will* break down with even the best methods of long term storage after a few years. When considering methods for long term storage, you should review the Drying & Curing threads in the Harvesting forum. Two things speed the breakdown of THC.. Light & Oxygen so take that into consideration. I'd say vaccum sealed bags in the freezer would be good. I'd also think that bud stored in air tight jars placed in a box and stored in a dark place (or even buried underground) would be just as good. ~Experimentalist
