My plants are growing very healthily and I was wanting an opinion on how I'm doing for my first grow! My plant is on week 4 of veg.

Its 2 days shy of 4 weeks veg no nutrients or special soil mix is being used. Just plain old purified water and soil I got from Menard's.

  4. You might want to consider a larger pot. What type of lighting?

  5. Its 2 13w CFLs. The plant is in a somewhat small container although I tend to it 10-15 times a day.

  6. U expect to flower that under 26 watts. Lmao

  7. You need a lot more light. How big is your grow space?

  8. I'm just trying for a small cabinet grow.

  9. Ur still gonna need more light.

  10. I plan on buying 4 more CFLs but with larger wattage

  11. Make sure you use the 6400k spectrum cfls during veg. They work best if placed 2-3 inches from plant. If you use four lights, this girl will do great!

  12. Thanks for the advice!

  13. It looks healthy but small as above posters have said.  Just needs more lights.

You want a minimum of 50 watts of light for any kind of harvest, 50 is low but would work.

When you pick up the lights they have CFL bar lights as well as the spiral CFL.  The bar lights tend to have more lumens and are strait, much easier for positioning and placing in smaller grow spaces instead of a ball.  They both screw into normal sockets, just the bar lights tend to be better light output for the same wattages.
