I don't think hip-hop is ever going to die, people in the underground will continue making that sweet music. The mainstream side of every genre of music has just been dumbed down to an almost brain-washing state. Ever since the days of early rock and roll, record execs and promoters have been catering to the likes of better advertisement, more publicity, and an increasingly more brainwashed public. Real people will always see through all of that and stick to the real, underground music. The day it dies, is the day humanity dies really. Let's hope ie doesn't come to that..
