Sugary Pop 'Doubles Pancreatic Cancer Risk' - Yahoo! News UK

im glad ive drank less then 50 in the last 10 years.

wonder what other daily items, people are gonna find that causes cancer and other terrible disease. any guesses

ill take a guess atttttt creatine. that shit surely fucks something inside, no doubt.

  2. There's a difference between correlation and causation. This study has not yet distinguished whether soda was the main factor. Read the last sentence again.

"Also, people who drank lots of fizzy drinks in this study were more likely to be unhealthy in other ways, like smoking, eating more calories, and being less active, so it is difficult to separate the effects of all of these things."

Doesn't sound very conclusive to me.

  3. I don't care. Cure it then we'll talk.

  4. I really don't give a fuck what causes cancer anymore.

  5. Everything causes cancer it seems.

  6. They need to manufacture a new disease scarier than cancer to make people afraid of getting it, because i know i'm not the only person who just doesn't care anymore.

  7. If pop, cigarettes, etc cause cancer, and marijuana doesn't, then what the fuck!

No. so many great things dont cause cancer

rid urself of the cancer shiznit, your body doesnt have to do work to defend itself all day. you end up feeling much much better. rejuvinated, yuh dig?

    do work

  9. The best thing that study can do is give average pancreatic cancer rates in Singapore...

  10. Yeah really, even vegetables are sprayed with chemicals that were found to cause cancer. Fucking vegetables man..

  11. i know, good fucking vegetables.

  13. ~sigh~ They can't even decide if anticholesterol drugs (statins) cause or inhibit pancreatic cancer (pops open diet coke) after lots of studies.

  14. Creatine is naturally produced by the body, it's a protein used in different metabolic processes like the breakdown of lactic acid and volumization of muscle tissue. Higher doses of creatine are used as supplements seeing as the static amount produced by the body will not compensate for increased levels of activity. (More lactic acid build up, etc.) The same is true for protein powders, your body simply doesn't get enough protein on a daily basis when you're eating only a few meals a day and exercising frequently. Supplementation is necessary to experience growth. Extreme doses of creatine will no doubt put a lot of strain on your kidneys; it also causes dehydration. Avoid creatine pills and taking more than the recommended daily dosage (1 tsp). Drink a decent amount of water on a daily basis and you won't have problems.

I wouldn't be surprised if a study came out saying broccoli can cause cancer and I'm sure, like this one, it would be dismissed by the majority of self respecting scientists at first glance. I mean, look: "Also, people who drank lots of fizzy drinks in this study were more likely to be unhealthy in other ways, like smoking, eating more calories, and being less active, so it is difficult to separate the effects of all of these things."

^^They should've put that at the start of the article so I would have known to close the browser sooner. This "study" is a farce.

  15. No matter how farcical this study seems, pop, soda whatever is still shitty.

I used to drink a lot of it until I turned 14-15. The stuff is just SO bad for you in so many other ways besides a chance of causing cancer. It fucks up your teeth, bones, all kinds of shit.

The only time I drink soda nowadays is when I'm mixing it with alcohol, or already drunk to begin with.

  16. No question there. It's a completely empty source of carbs that plays a big part in childhood obesity-- both pop and juice.

  17. I drink SODA.....on a daily basis.

  18. what the fuck is juice?

    lol

just kidding a little dave chappelle comedy for ya

  19. I drink green tea. Lots of it.
