local hydro store has known police informants, where to buy lights?

  1. I live in Maryland and there are commercial on tv for Maryland hydroponics every day, they have amazinggg prices. But when I googled the business name to get reviews I found 4 posts from separate people over the years just on one site that were followed/investigated after buying from there, and the presence of an informant was cited on all of their paperwork. From experience in the legal field, it makes sense. I had planned on borrowing someone's car and paying in cash, but now I don't want anything to do with them. Looking for a small convertible light, nothing over 400 watts. Where is reliable? Any other stores/sites to beware? Any advice on where to get lights would be great.
P.s. do not order from eBay. The lights are often sold by the feds from previous busts, and may serve you well until they get a warrant 6 months later and stop by for a chat. Never had that happen to me or friends, just friendly advice. No MDhydroponics or eBay.

  2. I'm a fan of htgsupply, as are many others here. Everything I've received from them has came in a plain brown box as well.

  3. Site looks good, anything you would suggest? I'm looking for something mainly for flowering. I'm just starting out with cfl's for veg and two plants in LST. Hopefully out of 10 or so bagseed I can get atleast 2 females. Soil grow if that wasn't implied.. thanks! Also if you've had luck with seed company's? That looks like a whole other can of worms...

  4. Craigslist. Do a search for "highbay lights", "werehouse lights" or "shop lights". I got a bunch of 400w mh and hps lights really cheap that way. Very anonymous, cash deal.
