Did you know that you can do a google search and probably find a link to your local police and ems radio feeds? I found all my surrounding counties. Just thought you'd want to know. http://www.police-scanner.info/live-police-scanners.htm
Yeah and if ya wanted to, you could use stream ripper to record it. I don't know what you'd do with it, but ya could.
So far they aren't saying anything. God. New York you're letting me down. Oh I guess it's like one in the morning too.
Denver doesn't work and Boulder is down. No access to Colorado Springs. I wish I had the money to chuck out $600-700 for a good home scanner, as all our frequencies are digital, but it's just too damn expensive. It's a pity because I love listening to the waves.
I miss the days of analog cell phones and scanners... Nothing like being able to listen/fuck with the cops without getting found out. EDIT: Haha we have an X user on my feed..
I found a site that broadcasts the El Paso County Sheriff, Police, Fire and EMS, but it's so slow that I'll hear something like, "Unit 52, we have a potential cardiac arrest at..." and then buffer again for twenty minutes. God damn it, I want to hear about the cardiac arrest!!
I have an old PC here running Damn Small Linux. The sound card works so it is now my cheap and easy police scanner.
