Hey Group This is my first grow. I have 3 female plants in hydro and two in organic soil. The soil is organic top soil with 20% worm castings. The pics say it all, little brown spots and not supper green liek was was hoping. Whats missing? I'm useing two 4' floros but have 1000 hps on order. They are 2/3 weeks into sexing. well they don't look to bad, i've seen alot worse... what's you're ph. levels? it's suppose to be in between 5.5 - 6.0 as i've read on this forum (worse comes to worse just leave it, i would if that was mine) good luck ~Their's always time to grow more~
Dude you have spider mites. I can see them on the leaves of the last pic. Grab some neem oil at the local hardware store; quick.
Dude, use the search tool and look for 'spider mites'. Some where on this site is a recipe for boiling up a packet of toabcco and misting the plants. You should use this in conjunction with the neam oil. Double check just in case.
Neem oil is just a spray bottle I believe. You just spray it on the soil and leaves. That should work by itself but those little jerks are resiliant so you also might want to make up another mix like burdbrain said.

Now i have heard some stuff about the neem oil that it does not work i had spider mights what i did was just take the leaves look at each one everyday and take your fingers put a leaf between them and run your fingers along each leaf make sure that you don't squeeze to hard just enough that you kill the spiders and the eggs cuz where there are spiders there are fur sure eggs !

I think the stuff you heard about the neem oil is bogus Smokey_McPott. The Neem oil is the best stuff for the mites not the worst. I would be very weary of spraying bleach onto my plants.
Group I followed the suggestion from stylez1877 on the sticky post from the top of this list. He said 1T bleach with 1G water at 95 deg.. I did that before you all said I shouldn't. The mites are dead and the plants look the same so I hope its ok? Now do I wait 3 days for more eggs to hatch, and then use neem oil? I found neem oil, but have seen diffrent ratios to use. What do you all use, 1t + 1/2t soap + 1q water? Thanks Jeff
stylezz is a good guy. His guide is great, it has changed since I read it a while back. Continue as directed with the bleach especially since it worked. Hit them again in about 5 days.
