  1. I went to the Little Feat concert the other night. I found out thet they have re-released the "Waiting For Columbus" CD. The original one left two songs off of it. One was "Apolitical Blues." The other one I will give you the lyrics to.

Ro-o-o-l-l-l-l another one. Just like the other one. You've been holdin' on to it, and I sure would like a hit. Don't bogart that joint, my friend, pass it over to me. Don't bogart that joint, my friend, pass it over to-o-o me.

Oh yeah, I bought the CD. Best bar band I have ever seen, that's for sure. I got to meet two members and get some signed CD's. Yeah buddy, that's the ticket!!!!

  2. Right on! I went to one of their shows in Seattle at the Paramont back in 78' or 77 or sometime around then, great concert Little Feat played for about 2-3 hours. that was when the lead guitar player was still alive, I think he had a heart attack or something, more than likely od' in the tub after slamming a speedball. too sad he was a great slide player. Downloaded a live album recorded way back at some small club in the east, off of absmp3.indie a while back. I really liked the double vinyl live album they released back a few decades. Gonna have to try to find that.

  3. Cool song, It was the theme song from the Movie "Easy Rider" :smoking:

  4. Lead guitar player and singer was Lowell George who wrote most of the music with Paul Barrere. Go to www.lillefeat.net og www.allmusic.com. I made a good friend once in the military because I heard him playing Little Feat in his room. By the way, being in the military is like sex. You get screwed while you are in, and the closer you get to discharge, the better it feels!!

  5. Heres another thread I will bump because little feat are amazing

I just bought the Skin It Back live at Rockpalast DVD and its pretty stellar. Paul Barrere has one of the coolest guitar styles I've ever seen. Lowell George is just a god. The new incarnation of Little feat is also pretty killer. The band gets no recognition. For a band formed by Zappa alumni I guess thats to be expected. They rank in the top of the jam band list and if you don't think theyre a jam band listen to some of their old shows with versions of At the Dog Races that are live 30 minutes long.

  6. 'Willin has to be one of the best road songs of all time.
