little black beads in weed.

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by mafinoo, Jul 21, 2020.

  1. I bought some weed from my friend and it smelled and looked really good.
After grinding it I found a lot of little hard black beads that are not larger than 1mm. They only appear when grinding.. you can't see them by looking at the bud.

Does someone know what that is?

Certainly not clean green but the picture doesn't give us much help other than there are particles of something laying out there. Based on your description of hard little black beads would have me worried of some sort of contamination. Whether it be a fungal or insect issue or both is s a mystery. I am assuming this is street bud not that it matters either, but I have found all sorts of issues in the past buying street bud including mold and bugs. Any serious medical cannabis consumer should always periodically inspect there medicine with a magnified lighted scope. I have picked several mites, fungus gnats, wings of said gnats etc... off my nugs in the past and this includes bud bought on both the street and at my medical dispensary.
