I started listening in last night so far I've gotten this list, the last call just minutes ago.

    1. 70 year old man not breathing
    2. 21 year old male complaining of elevated heart rate, seeking a patient evaluation, alderman rd. crs srt. mt vernon.
    3. Male, cardiac, in men's restroom of a cinema.
    4. 19 year old female with a lump on her left temple from an assault, the assualt did not occur at this address.
    5. 17 year old girl, difficulty breathing for 30 minutes, inhaler not doing shit.
    6. Another cardiac shit
    7. 53 year old male, elevated heart rate, tingling, clammy, and flush
    8. Woods fire!
    9. Fire control to engine 13, stroke at retirement home..
Your responding to an elderly woman, bloodsugar 398, slurred speech, slow to respond, history of stroke and diabetes
    10. Injury to the face from a bicycle
    11. Engine 22, Seizure, 24 year old female
    12. Complaint of an explosion noise, like a shotgun blast.

  2. Most calls are medical calls like that.

You're going to be listening for a long time if you want something exciting, and even then, they change channels

  3. Anything on a drug bust?

  4. Rescue crews dont do drug busts lol

  5. Hahahaha my bad! Thought he said police scanner. I'mma blame this one on the weed... :)

  6. Most associate scanners with cops as if they are some sort of super crime group keeping tabs on them. Their channels are usually more active and entertaining.

  7. I'd love to get my hands on a police scanner just to listen to the bullshit calls.

  8. Do you guys think I could pick up the cops on this thing?
It's a 30 Channel 10 band radio scanner, Uniden Bearcat.

Lmao! We need to rescue you from all these dirty dirty drugs!

  9. If you want. How much did that cost?

    $1 '5-0 radio' app

    I love it

  10. I have a vhf transciever in my truck with all the police and fire frequiencies programed into it, I'm in search and rescue. And yes sometimes I listen to the county sheriffs channel on the radio just for fun.

  11. I've heard a call about a man committing sucide once. It's all luck and chance.

  12. u gotta show up to one of these things with a bucket of popcorn

  13. Oh my god, this reminds me of the most memorable call.

When I was in college, apparently some transformer went out and we lost power. We kept hearing sirens so we turned on my friends scanner. About 5 min in, we hear about this woman who overdosed on benifiber

  14. That must have been a shitty experience for her!

  16. This list I'm actively updating when I hear something.

  17. Why?

It's really not entertaining. No one wants to hear about an old person having a stroke, a guy having a heart attack, etc.

It's a morbid sense of entertainment, really.

Are you waiting to hear about a death or something? That's pathetic, guy.

  18. Someone is doing it wrong.

  19. Welcome to my life...

    <--- Medic

  20. It's bad to know what's going on in your community?

Hey medic dude, where you working out of? Pm me if you don't want to post on the forum
