List of Companies that do not U.A.

Discussion in 'General' started by TuesdayPaybacks, Apr 17, 2010.

  1. Please let's only list co. we know from 1st hand experience. No friend of a friend. Or generic answers as in flipping burgers or whatever else you think is funny at the moment.

Whole Foods- not only do they not drug test, they have higher pay than standard grocery stores. It is feasible to start in the $13+ an hour range. Depending on the position.

  2. Any resturaunt. Unless its a coporate one. Then you might get drug tested.

  3. Okay, list a name and location if it's not corporate and nationwide. Not trying to be a dick but no generic answers please.

  4. Country clubs, hospitals, and old-folk's homes tend to be the only kitchen gigs that drug test.

This is gonna be the same stupid thread, if no one wants to listen. This is a supposed to be a list of companies, not a list of fields or professions. Are we just trying to build our post count or what? I've been a member for 6-7 months and I prefer to read than post blindly, anyone else have anything viable to add or should this just be closed now, before it goes down the same beaten path? Thanks.

  6. I'm always calm, it's a side-effect.

Aunt Dot's Learning Center D'ville Texas, if they are still open, I know the owner died.

  7. UPS part-time package handlers, not drivers. I don't know about Fed-ex, does anyone?

    Centerline Supply Grand Prairie, Tx

They only drug test if you are a major fuck-up and usually will just let you go. I don't know about the install crew though.

I don't want this to turn into a Texas thing but the only experience I have out of this state is working for Terion doing GPS installs and classes for J.B. Hunt trucking company. Terion has extremely good pay(easily clear $65,000 a year) if you can prove yourself and don't mind being on the road year round.

Terion is in Plano, TX but you might need to go through Central States, I don't think Terion is hiring directly.

  9. Horn Brothers Construction Co. or Horn Brothers Roofing(also Green Star Roofing) Dallas, TX and other cities and states.

These guys try to get you to scam home owners but if you're unscrupulous you can make some real money. They do have office positions that are hourly or salaried, instead of commissioned sales where you have to be a little dirty. I don't recommend this place but desperate times and all...

I'm trying to give people job choices that can earn a real income. I'm running low on decent paying jobs so I will have to post lower wage positions shortly.

  10. Visionaire Inc. Grand Prairie, Texas
small a/c manufacturer, was at one time family owned and operated

another one that's not recommended but should still not drug test, some licensing may be required unless you're a good talker

Bad pay for starting in production, but other positions may be available with around $30,000 starting pay. Normal production workers make $12-14 an hour.

  11. Hollister, Abercrombie, etc.

Not that anyone would necessarily want to work there...

  12. Thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for. A company name people can call and actually get a job.

ATI Arlington, Texas corporate office, I don't know about the instructors
    tech school

  14. Best Price ATV (aka Freedom Scooter, aka BMX Importers, aka BMX Logistics)
    Farmers Branch, Texas
chinese importer run by a guy with a 1/8-1/4 a day blow habit, no one's judging just stating

They will start you at $12 an hour if you insist on it. But research the company 1st, WFAA ended up doing a news piece on them after a little kid was burnt by one of their products.

  19. I'm trying hard to keep this nice. It's just information everybody. Times are tough and I don't think people should have to quit smoking to get a job, like I have in the past. Ok?

    Pottery Barn
    Pottery Barn Kids
    Williams Sonoma
    West Elm

Decent pay for retail and benefits available for full time. Sometimes you can actually work full-time but be considered casual and not have any insurance etc, so watch out for that. Overall a stable company(they are all owned by the same) to work for. Corporate positions available with very nice perks. Black Eyed Peas played at last years corporate get together.
