Liquid Chrome + 8 hrs later = HOSS BONG!!!!

[FONT=&quot]K blades and bladettes, I went out to Liquid Chrome today and heres my story: (Unwrapping and milk vids at the end!)

I live in scarborough, which is about a hour and a half drive from Liquid Chrome out in Barrie (best Glass shop IN CANADA!!) . But, I can't Drive! So, after taking the Go Train into toronto, and then catching two Go Busses (like greyhound busses) and 2 and a half hours LATER im at barrie bus depot. I walk like 3 feet and i find myself on the doorstep of liquid chrome. They had only just opened.

I spend the better part of the next hour on the LC level 2 looking, and looking, browsing, absorbing prices of glass and gaining glass knowledge from the very wise group of guys that work there, THERE WAS SO MUCH TO TAKE IN!!!!

I saw, SALT, SHELDON BLACK, Gear, SGW, Luke Wilson, Alexk, Toro, Illadelph, Roor (and the xcaliber[/FONT][FONT=&quot]), Lux, Puff, Redeye, and Zong! [/FONT][FONT=&quot](but no Syn tho....)

But the real reason why I went out there was for their Hoss selection! And OMFG it was RETARDED how much Hoss merch they had! Yesterday when I called, they told me that just last week the guy who sells the Hoss pieces to the store came in. They bought 300 new pieces off of him!!! And man, You do NOT know how much glass 300 bongs, bubblers, and a/c's are until you stand in front of a wall to wall glass cabinet (spanning the length of the store) that is HALF FILLED with Hoss glass!

I truly cannot explain to you how amazing this place was! This was my first time SEEING any kind of high-end glass, and for the first time, I WAS SURROUNDED BY top quality american (and canuck) glass!!

After I had seen everything, got advice from the guys that worked there, and chosen my bong, and my bowl I went to checkout and I got everything i needed for $185 (bowl only cost me 5 bucks!!!) And to sum up my trip, It was TOTALLY worth the 6 hour total commute there and back!!![/FONT][FONT=&quot]
As for the bong, Well its amazing! It is such a smooth hit! nice and cool, but there is SO MUCH TASTE!! I'll never go back to a beaker bottom again! And it looks stunning! Can't wait to get an add-on perc

Their prices are really good. All the hoss stuff I saw was below anything I saw on the internet, PLUS they dont charge taxes either I saved quite a bit going there as opposed to buying online. Theres also SOOO much to choose from! Their worked slides are cheap too, their lighters were overpriced imo tho, but thats about it.

I HIGHLY reccommend taking a trip out to Liquid Chrome man, its worth it! If you bring 300 cash you'll go home with something you're def. gonna b pleased with!

Oh dood its totally worth it! Just talking with the guys there was worth it. I find sometimes when you go into a headshop they seem nervous to mention "weed", "munchies" and so on cuz its still technically illegal to use the stuff for smoking weed, but these guys just dive right in. I've never felt more comfortable buying a glass piece. And it definatly beats out online shopping by a mile!

Ya the border MAY be an issue, but technically, its not illegal unless its been used to smoke weed out of...

 

Ya man, I've been waiting for like 4 months for their online shop to finally be finished, at this point I doubt that they'll have it up for a long while. Nextlevelinc is good for HOSS stuff, so is useyourlungs. You should try calling Liquid Chrome, cuz i know for sure that if you're in canada, they will ship glass to you, providing its in stock.
