As I'm in a situation now that doesn't allow me to smoke as much cannabis as i'd like I enjoy having a few drinks. It's taken me back to my golden years and experiencing all the flavors and nostalgia of having a buzz and just having fun with friends. I'm at an age where i can finally have a couple and have a good time. I don't drink much, but used to collect liquor bottles. This is a bottle of Damiana with a neat shape.
That's nice, i had to look up Damiana to see what it was. Never heard of it before. Whats it like as a liquor?

ETOH, Jesus juice, booze has been around forever, "the Mother drug"??? Some have problems with it, hence the Moderation & responsibility warning. Should everyone stop because many couldn't handle it? I like "a few drinks or just 1, I do not like being drunk. Kinda funny imo a site that's pro weed seems to be a bit anti alcohol.
Preference is wine and m s. Likem smooth with a kick. Just bought a house with apple, peach, and pear trees with a huge blueberry bush. Looking forward to brewing all that up. Cinnamon apple pie, blueberry and BlackBerry wine. Wife likes strawberry why it's in the 5 gallon. Keep her quiet for awhile lol I'm orginally from a town right outside of Lynchburg several friends and brother in-law work at Jack Daniel's.
I just moved to a country town out of the city. We've got lemons, limes, oranges, nectarines, cherry's and some veges. Wouldn't mind brewing something with the cherry's but the plants not producing enough fruit yet.
Mostly stick to beer, big fan of Belgian triples and quads if I'm in it to win it. Otherwise a nice bitter IPA helps smooth out the smoke from time to time. I used to drink hard liquor (straight vodka with a pickle, soviet style), but not so much anymore, ended up like this too many times.

I think of a drink as a little celebration of life, not to forget about it. Whether it's a blessing or a curse depends on you. Alcohol isn't evil it's just a thing.
Cannabis was always my love and I never did really enjoy Alcohol past the first drink. Now my body has a spiteful reaction to it and even a single drink leaves me with a full blown hangover that lasts the whole next day. Really a pisser as the whole craft beer craze hit after I'd stopped imbibing. I do love a nice brew but I digress. Ethanol is a great solvent for making FECO so I have more near pure of it on hand then I ever did when drinking. I do use it and whip up instant single serve Hash tincture shooters. That eye watering whole mouth burn is still a cheap thrill and I'll toss it in dry just for the "BURN" A knife tip of 160 micron dry ice kief, Half the thumb jar of 180 proof recovered Alcohol. Toss it in and................ All the years of drinking straight 100 proof vodka did leave me with a taste for the stuff. I just have to keep the amount used very small. One full ounce will leave me hung and sick but something in the range of 1/4 shot spread over the day as tincture hits is below the threshold. I have to temper my use but not complexly abandon Now I daily dose so high on edible oil that Alcohol added would be just to complex. Hell managing the hit of the hash capsules is enough most of the time. I do enjoy a sip taste of whatever the wife has poured. Red Wine or Whisky. Both have very complex slow evolving flavors. BNW
I used to get hash tincture shooters off my old dealer, he called it "Green Dragon" Was basically ethanol with hash in it lol.
