  9. REPOST

This is history. Everybody who has something negative to say about Lil B are just clones of today's mainstream hip hop. Today's generation have developed a seemingly unalterable definition of what "hip hop" should be. They've been blinded by the mainstream to believe hip hop should be about money, drugs, violence, women, the car you drive & the chain around your neck. "All they do is rhyme words, such typical rappers."

A single fan, dying of cancer, reached out to him and asked him to write a song for him. That right there is the sole definition of love & dedication towards your fans and your craft. Could you imagine Lil Wayne doing this? How about Wiz Khalifa? Jay-Z?

The majority of Silent President is dedicated towards spreading knowledge and a positive message to the people. And as such, the response is pure hatred. Truly a testament to today's mindset. I guess if you're not talking about how many people you've shot or robbed, or how much money you have, or how much weed you smoke, you're garbage. There is so much hate in this world, it's disgusting. This is beautiful.

The reason he puts out all these songs/mixtapes is because he is truly dedicated & passionate towards conveying a message to the people. Other rappers make a mixtape simply to make them. Lil B makes them because he's trying to bring change onto this earth. If Lil Wayne came out with a mixtape every month none of yall would be complaining. This site is a perfect example of how close-minded and ignorant today's society is.

Furthermore, for someone you all seem to hate with a passion, you guys sure like to take the time out of your day to comment on it and spread your negativity. Why? What's the point? I don't like some artists. That being said, I don't listen to their music, I don't watch their videos, I don't read up on them and I sure as hell don't comment on their shit. All you people do is feed off of hate and negativity. What is this world coming to? Is this what we have to look foward to? Respect Lil B.

Real talk Lil B's message changed my life forever. What has your favorite artist done for you besides promote & glorify the violence that plagues today's world? You guys need to blow some trees & take a step back and see and learn about what hip hop really is.

You don't have to like him, but at least respect him for what he's trying to do. Seriously, death threats, calling him a faggot, disrespecting him. Why? Because you don't like him? How old are all of you that you have to go out of your way to write these hurtful comments towards someone. Lil B is trying to stay positive while the rest of this world is filled with negativity.

And you wonder why he named his album "I'm Gay" He was simply trying to prove a point, and he did so. How many people do you know judged him simply because of the title of his album? That's all we do today is JUDGE and CLASSIFY. You've never met him yet you all have so much negative things to say about him. PREJUDGEMENT.

whats the meaning positive good anti-mainstream passionate spreading positivity meaning behind that track and those lines?

is Lil B the first artist to preach anti violence or positivity in general? pretty much everything in that quote you made there's a response that proves it wrong ha  i don't have a problem with lil b but i see his fans always make write ups for him like "before music he was hitting licks..or robberies..he hit like 40 of these and spent a night in jail" or some soft unnecessary BS

read the post i'm responding to? read what i said? shouldn't be that hard

  17. I read it. I never said nor implied Lil B was the first person to rap about positivity. Since that was the sentence that structured your post, it voided the rest of your post. I've also heard many of those songs.

  18. hes jus trollin, boy

  19. Just because you use a soulful beat, doesn't mean you're speaking from the soul. I listened to the top 4. He wasn't saying much, meaning there wasn't much substance. He sounds like he's TRYING to be real, but can't put it into words. It happens with new rappers. They first start off doing some mainstream shit, then they try and switch it and be real. It's hard to switch styles, but he does sound like he's trying (if this is his new shit). I'm not hating on your favorite rapper, I'm just keeping it real. If he starts rapping daily, and start spitting from his mind on how he's really feeling. Then he'll start making sense. It's hard to do, I know, it took me years to make an appealing flow while spitting shit I was going through. I'm a 90's kid, so obviously, I heard realer. He needs to leave that swag rapping and that other bullshit to the fakes, if he wants to appeal to REAL hip-hop fans. Not a lot rappers are willing to do that, just because mainstream is where the money is. I'll watch his career, and see how he matures. Right now, though, he's not getting anywhere near my playlist, and that's just me being real.
