    Hey everybody, just wondering if a 60 watt Halogen lightbulb will work just for germination, im plannin on transplanting outside after germination.

    no no no no no no hallogen is no good if its just germination just use floros if the seeds are in the soil already, if not you should be doing it in the dark anyway. hallogen is no good for any stage

    Yea, the seeds are in the soil, so I'll just use some fluros, i was just hoping i would get lucky and be able to use one of the hallogens that were in my garage.

    Halogens will burn the shit out of seedlings, and cause numerous heat issues in the grow room.


    floros are the way to go :smoke:

    Helogens are sweet for growing the plant to 1 foot but they sux afterwards

    ^ thats if you dont have a grow room and the light is like 2 feet away.

    you cant realy use halogens with a growbox, gets way over 100 degrees, your plants wont be happy campers..
