High, This if my first grow and i have four plants, i with 12 sets of leaves and three that have just sprouted in their jiffy pots. I have been using 24hours of light but i was talking to a friend and he said if i switched to 18 hours of light and 6 hours of dark the plants would do better so i'm trying it. I have one two bulb fluorescent light with 20 watts per bulb. I would like to know if this is a good step or should i go back to 24 hours or are there any other suggestions. Thanks, Forgotten
Hey forgotten, As Woody said you definately need to look into better lighting soon. But all you have now is the fouros so you got to work with what you have right. Flouros being weaker with not as much growing power as an Hid. In my opinion you need to stay with the 24hrs lighting and give your plant all you can. Remember to keep them 1 to 2" over the tops for the maximum benifit...................Peace...............
