lights for veg

    Can anyone tell me what is the best kind of light would be good to veg 5 to 10 plants ? thanks

    600-1000 watt Metal Halide.

    the watts are a little over board i think , i was thinking more like a 400 or even a 250 i was not looking to grow them over night lol , what do you think ..thanks

    No not at all for 10 plants you want at least 600 watts, for 5 I would use no lower then 400 watts.

    Yeah its a great investment and will more then pay for itself in 1 or 2 grows. I just invested in a new 600 watt light myself.
